Unions and liberals doing what they do best.

I figured they would try to move it to China.

Boeing has helped anchor western Washington state's economy for decades, but that relationship began to fray about 15 years ago. In 2001, the company moved its headquarters from Seattle to Chicago. Gee, why'd they go and do a thing like that?
Stupid media. Another day, another insult to my intelligence.

the leftist governor just called a impromptu special session and our lovely state legislature obligingly voted in another big tax break for Boeing that will last until 2040......
no other companies stand a chance at that kind of special treatment...

In Nashville, several years ago, the union at the Peterbuilt truck assembly plant went on strike for the second time in about 3 years. Peterbuilt decided that they could make due with the non-union plant in Texas and just shut down the Nashville plant and moved all of the production to Texas.

That's surprising, when you consider what a garden spot Nashville has turned into lately.

Seattle features a prominent statue of Lenin.
It’s not meant with any kind of hipster irony.

I worked at Boeing for a couple years, non-union.
You know what? If I was a small, independent parts producer in the Seattle/Everett/Renton area, and I lost business or even went out of business because of the vote, I’d be lining up lawyers around the block to sue the pants off the union.
This WILL effect alot more people and families than the union thugs!

the other thing about the Boeing union workers is that because of “international” competition, they get extended unemployment and can travel anywhere to look for work and get paid for it....lots of goodies even when they’re out of work...

Both Tennessee & Texas have no income tax. I wonder how many of the NON-UNION personnel will go with Boeing?
To: null and void
Huntsville and Mobile would be good locations. But Boeing won't come here due to the shenanigans that happened to reverse the USAF decision to award the tanker contract to Airbus BAE to build them in Mobile.
