John McCain goes off about U.S. foreign policy under Obama

When it comes to foreign policy, the Obama administration is really mucking things up.

At least that is how Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., sees it.

For a guy who went head-to-head against Obama in the 2008 presidential election, it's been tough to sit back and watch the president bungle diplomatic relations in his second term.

From Egypt to Iran, McCain singled out Secretary of State John Kerry, the former Massachusetts senator with whom he served, as the major liability.

"This guy has been a human wrecking ball," McCain said during the Atlantic Ideas Forum.

Weren’t McCain and Kerry walking hand in hand a couple of months ago when Syrian chemical weapons were the crises du jour?

McCain would go to war with the Salvation Army, Antarctica, and Narnia if he had the power to.

And he’d lose each and every one.

IMO, Kerry’s no worse than McCain would be as SoS.

Karry is simply a useful idiot and only carrying on with the policies of Clinton. On their side it is all ideology not facts and reality.

Never in my wildest nightmares would I have imagined coming to the aid of Kerry, who I have always advocated hanging for treason.

What the Hell happened to McCain?

Is he back on his meds? Off his meds? Did one of his staffers slide a few polls into his morning stack of talking points from the DNC?

Repeal Obamacare.....calling Jon Karry a “wrecking ball”.....what next? Might he even go so far as to say that we DO have something to fear from an Obama Presidency???

The mind........it’s boggled.

but priviously he (McCain) was "my good friend, Senator Kerry"

It was McCain's advocacy that assured that John Kerry would be the next SOS. McCain has gone totally bonders, and somebody should've incarcerated him in an old age home by now.

So the bromance is over, and McCain won’t be choosing Kerry for his VP running mate in 2016?

He’s not up for re election, but Lindsey is. Since they are a couple (like bill and Hillary), he has to be the good wife right now.

“It was McCain’s advocacy that assured that John Kerry would be the next SOS.”

Well, to be fair, I live in MA and we were more than happy to get Kerry out of the Senate.

BUT...McCain’s minion Scott Brown and the rest of the moderate establishment here got one of their own nominated in the special election...and of course he lost.

McCain of course VOTED for Kerry to be in this position, when it was clear that Kerry would turn out just as he has.

The founders gave us Senate Confirmation precisely to avoid stupid people getting into positions of power for political payback. But McCain, and most other republican senators, were happy to throw our relationships with other countries under the bus to confirm Kerry as the Secretary.
