Perhaps because McAllister *is* conservative on certain issues of importance to Robertson, including faith and family issues. The problem is that McCallister, at least according to his statements during the runoff (and the support he got from liberal Democrats), favors amnesty for illegal aliens and would rather “fix” than repeal Obamacare.

Don’t know. You’ll have to asked the Robinson clan. Lots of possibilities from friendship,
help with their business ventures, land holdings assistance, specific legislation they
would like, who knows?

Why on earth would you put so much faith in a tv personality ? It was out there that McAllister was running to the left of Riser. Maybe Mr. Duckies didn’t know or didn’t care. I don’t watch the show, so I don’t care. I’m more interested in paying attention to the candidates.
