Consider the lame-duck descent confirmed. A day after the Washington Post/ABC poll showed disapproval for Barack Obama and ObamaCare reaching new highs, the new CBS News poll shows his approval plummeting nine points in a month to 37%. Support for the Affordable Care Act managed to drop even faster:

New headline for the newspapers should read:

“Odumbo’s ratings continue in the right direct”.

Next month when the odumbocare fiasco fails surther, the headline then should read: “Odumbo Ratings In Freefall”.

Gotta love it!

If you factor in the liberal cover it is probably more like 30%.

It’s getting to the point where his popularity is almost limited to just the demographics of blacks, homosexuals, political radicals and the mentally incompetent.

The conventional explanation for the precipitous drop in Obama's favorability ratings is that it is a consequence of the public becoming aware of the downside of Obamacare due to its exposure by the computer glitch.

But what if there is a different explanation? His numbers did not noticeably fail because the IRS, NSA, Benghazi, fast and furious, Egypt, Syria when the mainstream media either excused his misdeeds or simply ignored them. That factor did not apply in the unraveling of Obamacare, most of the mainstream media, with notable exceptions such as the New York Times, pointed out that his administration was grossly incompetent, and he himself was not telling the truth or was even lying. It became permissible to criticize President Barak Hussein Obama and his numbers fell.

This tells me that nothing has changed since election 2012, the media still controls the outcome. If they can hold up Obama through all of the scandals and bring him to victory in 2012, if they could hide or minimize his radical socialism since 2007, they can do so again in 2014 and in 2016 on behalf of Democrats-and they will.

We all know the Democrats will engage in election campaigns of demonization against Republicans playing the race card and the sex card. Nothing has occurred which we should lead us to believe that the media will not carry just as much water in support of these lies as they have in the past. Nothing so far should convince us that they will be any less effective.

Good post. The real number is probably something well below 37.

In the world of politics, nobody wants to be in the 30’s. Its the political danger zone for sure. Obama is now widely perceived as an incompetent manager and a liar. His credibility is in shreds.

Being in the 30’s he’s in the political equivalent of quicksand. Its nice to see him struggle for once.

I never saw a scorecard for all of Clinton’s EO’s that Bush rescinded. Undoing the evil he is visiting upon the military, EPA, DAG, Energy, Education, Commerce, IRS, FBI, Secret Service, Homeland Security, judiciary and so on—will take a generation to fix.

If he were a republican, the media would be pushing the meme that he’s lost his mandate
and that none of his agenda should be considered.

I don’t recall instances where the DBM en masse turned viciously on a president to this extent, then later backtracked. There have been isolated instances of truthful reporting even on Obama, which was quickly forgotten because it was rare.

The difference this time is that, unlike F & F, Benghazi, etc., people are personally being impacted.

Obama did not make and repeat erroneous promises about the other scandals. But he faced the cameras several dozen times and outright lied about ACA. His numerous attempts to explain the lie and his non-apology have been cow flops.

People believed him and now they see the negative impacts of placing their trust in him.

He’s also being portrayed as somewhat of a buffoon with his repeated denials that he knew anything about what the negative impact of ACA would be and also what a disaster the rollout would be.

People are scratching their heads wondering why he didn’t know these things. Shouldn’t his staff have kept him in the loop?

He needs a big time game changer. Canning Sebelius, Taverner and others affiliated with the botched rollout might buy him some time and accolades. But it would also validate everything his critics have been asserting.

Up to now, it’s been pretty obvious what Obama’s MO was, but nothing makes sense anymore.

Thanks for the cover humor, Friend. Any White woman stupid enough to contribute money to the empire of this outspoken bigot probably was an Obama voter.
