Gone (temporarily, I hope!) but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Quinn and Rose are off the air, but they WILL be back! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have!

My new co-worker is annoying. Smart but bland. Not lib/not conservative know-nothing She’s working in my office and when I listen to Rush or Beck she laughs. Doesn’t take anything seriously. I miss my old co-worker, Nancy (Smitty) She’s since moved away. She had conservative fire.
I work in my basement office by myself a lot these days.
Yeah. There is NOTHING like Quinn and Rose! They prepped me for the rest of the day. WPGB made a big mistake.
Co workers....bleah. This morning two of mine were irritating. Across the street is a building with a generator. All night long it faintly beeps Morse code to let workers outside know the status of the building. Both my co workers complained saying it was noise pollution. When I explained it to them they said only fanatics use Morse code.
Oh I am so tired I am in bed already.

I cannot listen to Bloomdaddy. And since I have to rely on FM in kitchen in am, these QUIET mornings suck. I have to rig something to place the laptop somewhere safe and dry so I can find someone to fill morning void:(

I listen on my tablet when I’m downstairs. Can’t find an acceptable alternative to Q&R however. Right now I don’t have anything on my laptop. Maybe I’ll listen to a Coast to Coast podcast. Somebody suggested Jeff Kuhner on WRKO in Boston. I’ll check him out.
Meanwhile, I have the tv on. Fox and Friends. They had Dan Bongino on. He was a CIA bodyguard for Obama. He’s trying to raise the alarm too. He’s running for Congress on the republican ticket in Maryland.
Listening to www.talkradio560.com because they stream internationally so I get Bill Bennett. A very nice man but no excitement at all. Right now he’s talking about jobs, and generally about expanding jobs in Mississippi with a Governor Reeves?
This show could be on any time, any day and still be the same because it isn’t tied to today’s conservative priorities. It is simply blah blah blah....
Now I’ve finished lunch I need to get back to work. At least that’s interesting!
Jeff Kuhner has kind of an odd speech pattern...but I REALLY liked him when he would sub for Michael Savage (another talker i miss because he ISN’T on radio). They are running a commercial for “free” Siriuis XM in your car (thru 12/3). My morning drive isn’t long enough (nor total time in car) to get into any $ in Jeep. Still, w/nothing to listen to (fm transistor at work to listen to Beck,Rush,&Hannity at desk at work) it’s tempting.

I can’t get any live streaming on my work computer (used to, but I think they cut us off), or I would tune into Chris Plante on WMAL at 9AM.
So I’m in for a silent morning until Beck comes on.
Mr S had WPGB on during the drive in to work.
OMG! We have a poser in the White Hut who is destroying our country, and the bloom guy is talking about “cell phone addiction”!
I like Chris Plante too. I always listened to him or Beck after Q&R were off. He’s close to them in outspoken-ness. I’ll download yestrdays show. Also, if I need a Q&R fix, I’ve got a bunch of their shows on my mp3.

This morning he is talking about the death of the democrat party—yeay.
I cannot get WRKO on Iheart radio, but there are other ways through their Website.
Also, the people of Boston call in all the time thanking him for being on the radio there.
I have a request from a fellow Q&R fan I know to PLEASE keep it classy and do NOT call down to Wheeling to beat-up on Bloomdaddy.
None of this is his fault. In fact I can only imagine what he must have felt when they told him ten minutes before airtime that he was going on the network.

I agree completely! I’m sure he had nothing to do with getting them removed. Given [what used to be] WPGB’s other programming, he’s not likely to garner a lot of listeners and he’ll be off their station shortly. I did, however, bristle at his “I’m open minded” comment on Monday...
