House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) reaffirmed his commitment to enacting immigration reform, a week after the chances of an overhaul appeared dead following his comments that he would not support negotiating with the Senate on its comprehensive bill.
“Is immigration reform dead?” Boehner told reporters. “Absolutely not.”

Boehner and the liberals are also scared of the illegal alien crowd. They have to promise them something and some sort of progress. If he came out and said he is not giving them citizenship and only the legalization scam they would be on his doorstep.
