These are vile, evil people.
I’m guessing that under Commiecare eventually preborn babies determined to have medical problems will not be allowed to be born.
30-some years ago a couple who were good friends of ours, and were pregnant at the same time as we were with our older daughter, had their baby diagnosed with anencephaly. No real chance for the baby to survive very long at all. The doctors encouraged, indeed pressured, them to abort.
As strong Christians they refused. When their little girl was born, they took her home and loved, held and sang to her till she died. Took about 18 hours. Many friends joined them.
One of the saddest and yet at the same time happiest days of my life, and I wasn’t even one of the parents.
And what do these parents do if the kids in a wreck or becomes a druggie?
Most who have babies like that say that. The babies don’t have long to live but at least the parents have those few precious hours to love the baby and have those memories. That certainly beats murdering the baby in abortion then regretting that the rest of one’s life.
Btw, I am certain the Dr. was trying to run up the bills.
If babies with hair lips were aborted 72 years ago Jesse Jackson would not exist today.
If Baby’s with Greasy heads were aborted, No Al Sharpton.
If baby girls with Adams Apples were aborted, no Rachel Maddow.
Democrats are Dr. Mengele’s spawn.
What’s new? This is one of the many reason they hate Sarah Palin’s guts.
Today, late term abortion will be a ‘choice’.
Under future single payer(national healthcare) abortion whether one wants one or not, will be determined according to ones medical history as well as genetic makeup by a ‘panel’ of state medical ‘experts’.
A very slippery slope toward total eugenics...
Take away the government money and you’ve got a thrill kill cult.
Will the the HHS under new Obamanoncare regulations decide to “abort” folks like my 70 year old brother-in-law who was just diagnosed with liver & kidney cancer. Think of the savings that will be gained and that he has, under the British health care system “outlived his productive years.”
euthanasia is closer than we think.
Sounds like these mothers were flat out lied to about the prognosis for their babies, by the late term abortionists. Sick and evil.
Curious-—there’s no mention anyplace of why these parents weren’t seeing a regular doc first and getting an opinion from someone besides a quack. I’m guessing the PPH guys just made up the stories?
Under Obamacare, political appointees will decide who lives and who dies.
Unfortunately, there are too many physicians who will gladly refer a problem pregnancy to an abortionist, rather than try to deal with the issues. It *is* costly and requires a fair amount of time and effort for a physician to deal with a child with a birth defect, not to mention that the physician has a high chance of being sued in such a case. OTOH, referring the patient to an abortionist to snuff the child is quick and easy, and drastically reduces the chance of being sued.
Stories like these are nothing new. About 25 years ago, I read a story in the Baltimore Sun that was supposed to be a tear-jerker about a woman who found out during ultrasound that her baby had hydroencephaly. Her physician only told her that it was a lethal condition, and advised her to abort immediately (which she did). I was appalled—that story was overt pro-abortion propaganda. I’ve often wondered if that woman ever happened onto a story about some child who was treated for hydroencephaly and went on to live a normal life... and what her feelings might have been upon learning that she was pressured into killing her child for a treatable condition.
Exactly, she is a vivid reminder that their cold hearts lack any courage to take the risk of giving birth to their perhaps not perfect flesh and blood. She is a reminder of the child they have lost so brutally . They see what could have been with a beautiful loving family and chose differently.
The regret hurts and makes them feel ugly inside.
