Exclusive -- McConnell: Tea Party 'Bullies' Who Need Punch in Nose
breitbart.com ^ | 11/22/13 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 11/22/2013 9:30:20 AM PST by cotton1706

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on a conference call organized by Karl Rove’s Crossroads organization for large donors and their advisers on Oct. 30 that the Tea Party movement, in his view, is a “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that he plans to “punch … in the nose.”

On the call, according to a donor who was on it, McConnell personally named Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as Tea Party conservatives he views as problematic for him. “The bulk of it was an attack on the Tea Party in general, Cruz in particular,” the source, a prominent donor, said in a phone interview with Breitbart News.

But the most memorable line came at the end of the call.

“McConnell said the Tea Party was ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies,’” the source said. “And he said ‘you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.’”

Rove, as well as American Crossroads President and CEO Steven J. Law who also serves as the president of sister group Crossroads GPS, were also on the call. Rove “talked in a slightly gentler way, or let’s say, a more diplomatic way,” the source said. “But the message was pretty well the same: That if we’re going to save this thing, we have to back real Republicans.”

You can just abbreviate “power-hungry, vindictive, and insidious” by calling Mitch McConnell a liberal.

He is a liberal Republican. That explains so much about him. That his loyalties are to the liberal agenda, that he would support liberal Democrats, but never conservatives, that he imagines himself an elite whose senate seat is his by dint of his superiority, that he is filled with hate at those who object to his bad behavior, and that he is treacherous and deceptive, calling himself a “hero” when he is but a base villain.

Evidently, Mitch would love to punch Ronald Reagan on the nose.

The Saudis and Communists who fill McCain/McConnell’s offshore bank accounts each week should realize they need better actors.

Nobody is buying this soap opera.

This is what Ted Cruz and the Tea Party know......and what Rove etc. choose to overlook...even Democrats know Obamacare doesn't pass the smell test.

“Bully” is a happening word.

Poor Mitch... Ted Cruz is such a big bully, having the audacity to live up to his campaign promises.

“Owww! Owwwwwwww! Knock it off! I mean it! Hey, stop it. STOP it Ted! Owwwwww that HURTS! I’m gonna tell Karl on you!”

I see... The TEA party, (Taxed Enough Already), is the bully here? We the Taxpayers of the country are getting raped over and over to pay taxes on this, taxes on that and ‘fees’ up the ying/yang and we are the Bullies?

Fraid not, Senator McConnell, it’s time for pay back. You and yours bullied us first and took all you could from us. Now it’s time for you to get taken to the cleaners.

I'm confused. The Tea Party are, as a group, actually quite liberal on many issues.

What distinguishes the Tea Party from others on the right is that they're willing to back up their ideas with action.

They're hated because they're willing to act against government expansion rather than just trying to slow it down.

He doesn’t have to worry about changing the rule back. If the dems lose the Senate, their last act will be to change the rule back! They’ve got it all covered!

Rove: “we have to back real Republicans”

At least Rove was honest in making that statement.

They want Republicans. Conservatives need not apply. Conservatives are RINOS. Rove, McConnell, Alexander, Graham, Snowe, et al. are the “real Republicans”. And the “real Republicans” hate conservatives even more than the Dims hate conservatives.

Sometimes I think the ptb in the Republican Party believe their own rhetoric. They really do think they're special. They still post that it's our fault that Obama got elected twice. Fact is, two times, the RNC/RINOs and their puppet masters gave us really bad candidates. McCain and Romney couldn't even bring voters over to the importance of constitutional conservative government when running against a dunce.

They're still on that high horse named arrogance. They want to give us another one of their own as presidential nominee; they'll lose again.
