EXCLUSIVE–TEA PARTY TO MITCH MCCONNELL: 'YOU CANNOT WIN WITHOUT US'
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 22 Nov 2013, 4:27 PM PDT | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 11/22/2013 10:23:36 PM PST by onyx

A major GOP donor who told Breitbart News Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made disparaging remarks about the Tea Party movement and about Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) continues to stand by his original story after claims that the reports were not accurate.

This individual reported that on the Oct. 30 fundraising call American Crossroads’ Karl Rove and Steven J. Law held with McConnell, “McConnell specifically talked about Mike Lee by name, specifically talked about Ted Cruz by name, and he specifically talked about the Tea Party by name,” the donor told Breitbart News in response to a story Rove’s and McConnell’s teams have purported shows otherwise.

That story, published by Charlie Spiering at The Washington Examiner earlier on Friday, confirms that McConnell “criticized conservative groups who supported the plan to defund Obamacare” and that he also criticized those conservatives who “are now actively working to defeat him in Kentucky.” The article adds that McConnell “repeatedly mentioned the Senate Conservatives Fund by name.”

Isn't it the other way around?

Is it me or is this total arrogance? Look, to me this isn't Reagan's vision of keeping the troops aboard even if you go with the McConnell RINO vision that we are the the outcast within the GOP vs. what might have been the outcast in Reagan's day.

* But the arrogance, don't they know this will be picked up by Talk-Show Host that feel we have been betrayed by them?
* Do they not realize Beck and Levin will mention this ( Freeper's will find out with or without the shows) ?
* Does he realize how big their audiences are ( 20 million and 9 million respectively if my memory is correct ) and if they piss them off literally millions may send money to Mitch's Challenger?

The question begs, is will exercise in chest thumping be written as a tipping point in his political carrier as where he created his own Waterloo....

I agree about the unknown sources, but are these revelations out of character? According to Lee and Cruz, the Republican senators all ganged up on them after the shutdown. Instead of supporting the movement against obamacare, they were attacking the few lone voices trying to repeal it. With other things Mitch has done, it does not sound out of character. Mitch was likely railing loudest against the Senate Conservative Fund, but it’s funded by Tea Partiers. So......I’d say he’s in a world of hurt.

McConnell Wants to Punch Conservatives ‘Bullies’

Posted 3 hours ago by Tad Cronn Filed under Corruption, Political Correctness, Propoganda, Socialism

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell hates the Tea Party, that much is clear.

He hates Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.

He also hates the Senate Conservatives Fund.

And he hates those conservatives trying to unseat him in his Kentucky home district.

More broadly, he hates anyone and everyone who supported defunding Obamacare.

It’s tempting to infer that McConnell just hates conservatives in general, although that may not be entirely accurate.

Still, it would be an easy conclusion, based on McConnell’s past public statements, and especially based on his conversation on an Oct. 30 conference call, during which he apparently said the Tea Party is “nothing but a bunch of bullies,” then added, “You know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose, and that’s what we’re going to do.”

I only donate to individuals now.

That's what I told the caller from the National Republican Committee last time they called for a donation. He was understanding about it and said, "I'm hearing a lot of that lately." My reply was; "Maybe you should let them (the NRC) know it's going to be like this until they change."

Nope, they are very believable, but an unknown source can just be the writer's belief that mitch might have said these things because we would all be quick to agree.

Mitch McConnell is a squish and I hope he is replaced in the primary, but according to unknown sources, obama is going to name me to replace sebilius.

Tea Party people to M McConnell. We think it is in your best interest to support us. We might not yet be able to win without your support but we are gathering disaffected Dems and most independents and will soon be the mainstream of political thought in the US. We will welcome your support if your colleagues are honorably committed to American principles. Until then, you are a vestige of political history and there is no destination on the highway you are traveling.

By the way, self-interest is no longer a winning strategy for a political party

Hopefully Mitch will lose big in the primary!!!

Oh, but if he wins in the primary we HAVE TO support him even if he will sell us out to the enemy. That’s what good republicans do! How do I indicate that I’m being sarcastic?

It appears that the eGOP wants to lose. The McConnell/graham/McCain parade of buttwipes are happy losers.

The really distressing part of this story is that we have a golden opportunity to destroy ObamaCare right now.

As far as I can see, no one in the GOP leadership is doing anything to make that happen.

Our leadership seems to be saying, “ObamaCare is really bad, that will help us win in 2014 and 2016, then we will repeal it.”

If our leadership cannot find a reason to fight ObamaCare today, they will NEVER fight at all.
