Actually she was born in Iran of American parents. She’s not a Persian or Iranian. This is not to say she isn’t pro-Iranian and anti-American.

VJ is actually connected to Saudi Prince Alwaleed (of Murdoch’s Newscorp), via Khalid Almansour, her father-in-law Vernon Jarrett and Frank Marshall Davis.
I’ve never seen anyone make as serious connection from VJ to an Iranian patron.
I do feel she is a security risk, in ways other foreign-born, like Ted Cruz, are not.
