Interesting investigative story that Drudge is headlining.

Hmm.. now why would the AHA let a few animal deaths and mishaps slide...?

The parallax scrolling on that page is really cool. Usually I hate these technologies but Hollywood Reporter has used it well.

I hate H-wood, but considering all the stuff going on to destroy Israel, the USA, why the timing on release of this stuff now? Distraction? Get it out now since 0bummer is fundraising in SoCal this week? Hmm? I suspect things are bad for H-wood but haven’t a clue why all this leaking now.

***Who are the Left’s enemies and perhaps 0bummer has blackmailed them to donate more??? Or he’ll release more dirt?

I suppose this is easier and less inflammatory than investigating the destruction of child actor’s lives.

Disney seems to have created the template for destroying little girls like Miley Cyrus and Britny Spears.

While Hollywood itself allowed the molestation of boys like Corey Haim, Cory Feldman and so many others.

Let’s all hear for the animals. That’s a feel-good, politically correct thing to do.

Safe, very safe.

This sad story isn’t surprising in the least. The movie industry has found ways around animal abuse accusations by cozying up to the oversight organizations and by legal means.

A friend of mine had a horse who was selected to be a Secretariat double when they were filming at Pimlico, but the deal was that Disney would only use the horse if they could buy him from her for the duration of the film’s production (he would remain in her care but they would be the legal owners of the horse, meaning she had no say in what he was used for or any means to sue them if something happened to him), and then they’d sell him back to her several months later.

Any right-minded horse owner would walk away (as my friend did), but sadly there were many owners who didn’t, owners who cared more about saying their horse was on screen for two seconds regardless of the risks involved in selling it to Disney for six or eight or twelve months.

As for the exotic animals in these movies, nearly all of them are bred and raised in captivity, often in subpar conditions, and then “trained” to act and perform on command. A lot of them have been rescued and placed in animal sanctuaries, including the Wild Animal Sanctuary here in Colorado.

It’s very sad how Hollywood exploits these animals — and they do it to children, too, thanks to bad parents who care more about fame than welfare.
