State certification keeps Dem ahead in Virginia AG race

The Democratic candidate for Virginia attorney general has maintained his thin lead over the Republican hopeful after the state certified the Nov. 5 ballot.

The State Board of Elections in Richmond completed its certification Monday, showing Mark Herring with a 165-vote edge over the GOP's Mark Obenshain.

Herring held a 165-vote edge over Obenshain before the certification. Obenshain has 10 days to decide whether he'll seek a recount.

Both men have dug in, with each announcing transition teams. Virginia has no automatic recount, but the trailing candidate can seek a recount at taxpayer expense if the margin between winner and loser is less than one-half of 1 percent.

I heard on Dc WMAL radio this morning that there is a scenario in which this could end up in Virginia’s legislature, which is Republican controlled.

The time has already come when MORE votes than census counted people will find their way to the ballot boxes. It has already happened in numerous precincts and districts.

Close elections or wide margins, the Marxists still win. We will never again have a fair national election or any local election that is important to the Marxist agenda.

Recount, sue, and bring criminal charges against anyone found in election fraud. Start looking for fraud instead of ignoring it.

How about that? When I saw the numbers were close, I had NO IDEA the Democrats would get the seat! NONE!

If its close they will cheat.

They will find bags of ballots in car trunks, hotel closets or whatever to get themselves over the top

Start looking for fraud instead of ignoring it.

Voting Machines were a Marxist wet dream, now that we have computerized the process using government owned data base information, we will be hard pressed to ever have an honest election again.

Illinois in 1960 set the standard.

Good. We need to start playing hardball, like yesterday. If we’d played better politics we’d be just a few Senators short of a majority in the US Senate. This is a good down payment at the state level.

Dranesville District Republicans

A law championed by Democrat Creigh Deeds could give Republican Mark Obenshain the tools to erase Mark Herring’s 165-vote margin in Virgina’s attorney general’s race.
