Republicans in the House who refuse to take on immigration reform don’t have much to fear from voters, according to a number of political experts. Despite public support for reform and the increase in Latino voters, this demographic has little clout in GOP-controlled districts.
“Immigration reform policy still ranks comparatively much lower in importance compared to the economy, job creation, the federal deficit, job and healthcare,” said Daniel Cox, research director at the Public Religion Research Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization in Washington.
That’s because immigration reform still has relatively little support compared with more immediate concerns over the recovering economy, health care and the federal budget.

It's if you do pass "reforms" that you have something to be worried about.
You are correct there is no support for this out of Dem’s who want scab voters and business that wants scab workers. The Pew polls shows 60% are opposed.
Yes, seems like only yesterday that to espouse closing the borders, enforcing existing immigration laws, strengthening the military, lowering taxes and promoting employment were slam dunk issues for a Republican candidate. I find it hard to believe that the public has done a 180 on these topics.
The heck with the fence.
I say we give a contract to a Chinese company and pay them to build a replica of The Great Wall of China, this replica stretching from the Pacific Coast border of California and Mexico all the way through to the Gulf of Mexico. And build it three times as tall as the original.
The RINOs are in on the scam because they want to keep the conservative vote and still provide cheap labor for their puppetmasters.

How many adult white voters are there turning out in 2014 in Blake Farenthold’s half hispanic district?
Id guess at least 60 or 70%. It seems like Blake wants to impeach Holder and attack Obama instead of getting excited about amnesty.
According to the hispanderers Blake should worship Obama and pass amnesty immediately.
The Calfornia GOP Congressmen are there to provide 15-20 votes against amnesty. I dont think any of the American citizens in their district victimized by illegals want amnesty and to force the same fate on districts they might flee to.

It is a huge priority among the gimme portion of that demographic who will reflexively vote Democrat and want more free stuff.
There are only six days left congress will be in session.
Not enough time to deal with something so controversial as Immigration Reform.
Ironically, the best way for the GOP to gain Hispanic voters would be to stand firmly against amnesty.
Two separate polls of legal Hispanic voters indicate a 2-to-1 majority against amnesty.
And, upon reflection, doesn't that make sense? Legal Hispanics have either been U.S. citizens for generations or earned their citizenship by going about it the right way.
Consequently, just like the rest of us, they're not in favor of illegal invaders getting their citizenship as a gift.

Lainos have little clout in GOP districts because they are Dims. Latinos are socialists. They came here from socialist countries and that is what they know and love. When their own third-world hell holes didn’t deliver the goods they expected, they came here to demand WE give it to them.
