They were probably looking for people walking hunched over with their eyes shifting from wall to wall, and appearing oddly bulky under their trench coat.

The Mom of a man I spent some time with worked for TSA, in a very high position. I argued with her all the freakin time about how useless they were and they hadn’t caught one damn terrorist. Her typical reply was something along the lines of, ‘well, there haven’t been any incidents’ blah blah blah.
I really should have know it wouldn’t work, coming from a dimwitted mama like that! She was maddening.
