Ensuring the full freedom of women as health care consumers to access essential preventative health services is a vital component of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). And nowhere are health decisions more personal or essential to keep in their hands, than those regarding reproductive health. The ACA was designed to ensure that health care decisions are made between a woman and her doctor, and not by her boss, or Washington politicians.
Today, there are people trying to take this right away from women, by letting private, for-profit corporations and employers make medical decisions for their employees, based on their personal beliefs.
A group of for-profit companies are currently suing to gain the right to deny employees access to coverage for birth control and contraceptive care, which are used by the overwhelming majority of American women in their lifetimes. Among the first cases to reach the Supreme Court is one filed by Hobby Lobby, an arts and crafts chain whose owners want to be able to take the option for birth control benefits away from their employees.
We are confident the Supreme Court will agree that health decisions in this country should remain with individuals, in consultation with their doctors, families, faiths, and whomever else they personally trust. No corporate entity should be in position to limit women's legal access to care, or to seize a controlling interest over the health care choices of women. To take that type of power away from individuals, and to let the personal beliefs of a woman's boss dictate her health care choices would constitute a major step backward for women's health, and self-determination.
Oh, but Valerie, you and your clown are attempting to FORCE the boss to make it his or her business!
AH...pivoting back to the “Womens Rights issue.....FUVJ
Telling the Supremes what they expect from them...
That’s why they force old men to buy an ObamaCare policy that includes free pap smear, free mammogram, free birth control pills, free pregnancy care and free abortions.
After all Obama is a miracle worker so you never know what will happen next.....
And the Federal Government is making sure that health decisions in this country will not remain with individuals, in consultation with their doctors, families, faiths, and whomever else they personally trust.
Then the woman can pay for it rather than demand someone else foot the bill. She has control, she pays.
A boss’s religious beliefs should not be dictated by his employees.

Wonder if Jarrett read this from an Obama teleprompter?
Apparently only women should be in control of their health care decisions, men can F**k themselves. I never hear any great outcry about men’s cancer deaths and their suffering, only women, why is that?
I can’t read this.
My understanding is that women want slut funding.
But they want no questions asked.
Seems very out of order from the start.
What’s the remedy for a blood sucking leech, a wooden stake?
So free pills are going to trump freedom of religion.
Interesting that our Founding Fathers didn’t put that in the Constitution.
The whole thing is bizarre. This is bizarre because of the religious issue.
Actually, health insurance has been bizarre for awhile. Insurance is not meant to cover choices that aren't necessary expenditures. Its purpose is to cover situations that can't be anticipated and would be a financial burden if they occurred.
Look in yer Funk and Wagnalls for the term Dumb C***. Valery Jarret’s photo appears.
Need I say more?
A) What's wrong with for profit companies?
B) They are not denying employees access to anything. Employees can walk into a drugstore anytime and buy contraceptives for themselves.
We are confident the Supreme Court will agree that health decisions in this country should remain with individuals
C) If she wants health decisions to remain with individuals, why all the dictatorial Federal mandates taking away our power to decide what kind of care we want?
Jarrett is a twisted woman who spouts lies.
And definitely not in the hands of American taxpayers. If the girls want to dance, they can pay their own cover charge. I have no control over their sex lives, nor do I care to, so I shouldn't have to pay to support it.
Why doesn't the left just create a sex life charity? That way, those who wish to contribute can, and those who don't give a crap about a strange woman's night life can just ignore it.
If a bimbo wants to get loose, so what? What does that have to do with me? Why the heck should I have to throw part of my paycheck at it? What's in it for me? Nothing! I couldn't care less. I'm throwing my money away so some bimbo across the country can have a geat time in the sack?? What?
Ah, the magic of Valerie!
