I don’t know about any connection of the Greek “arseno-”(meaning of male adult humans, or men) and what you might be thinking of as the root of “arson” which is from the Latin “ardeo-”.
Arsenokoitai simply means “men-bedders.” I don’t know if Greek had a word for buggery, and if memory serves, a common Greek mode of carrying out the “men-bedding” act didn’t involve buggery. I don’t want to say a lot more lest I get explicit. Suffice it to say it’s warped. And it represents Satan preying on the spiritual needs of people and turning them every which way but free to follow the Lord.
