Since he made his debut on the music scene years back, the Senegalese singer hasn’t stopped to hold his own fans captive with his music.
But unknown to many, he’s been a polygamist.
Read what he thinks about monogamy: “The average guy in the world has a main girl and they got a side chick. And then they got a jumpoff. At the end of the day as a male we are natural breeders by nature. We can’t even escape it if we wanted to.

They’re natural breeders. It’s in their genes, they can’t help it. Men are put on this earth to breed and the reason why God put multiple women on this earth is for that.
People are having relationships, boyfriend and girlfriend, and treating it like it’s actually marriage. You’re just dating.
The whole purpose of dating is so you can date this one, and date this one, and date this one until you find out, ‘Okay, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Okay now, I commit to what’s called marriage.’
You find that one woman that supplies everything that you desire in a woman, of course that will be a motivation to stick with that one woman, but I don’t know no one woman that can satisfy every man’s one need.

Sadly, it’s already the reality here. In divorce these days, if one spouse cheats, sleeping with other people is considered his or her “sexual preference” and isn’t even taken into consideration in the divorce process. (At least in some states - maybe not all?)

Not polygamy so much as just a man-whore.
The way I read it, he’s not into getting married, he just likes to screw around.
he's just busy looking through his own head though his own eyes. The man has never met me. I'm a woman and let's just say--ladies turn their heads too. We just have learned how to hide that not so 'socially acceptable inner sexual goddess' as society would historically call us by a different name.
Men haven't had this social constraint. Of course once they get into a relationship or married they learn for fear out of getting in trouble with their beloved to keep their eyes forward--haha. Out of survival. We all look and see the beauty whether inner or outer of another. Even when we've been married for awhile. That's life.
This guy will never find that one woman though who may be able to give him it all. As that woman wouldn't give her specialness to such a non monogamous man. So in the end he loses there. He may have many lovers but has crowded out true love.
exactly. there are the marrying types and the non marrying types. the marrying types have proven to be healthier, live longer, and are happier. Go figure. He may be ‘happier’ in the moment of free love and his own ‘freedom’ but this all he has.

haha exactly! Interesting in real polygamy usually it is not the man that takes care of the multiple variable needs of the multiple woman partners he has. Most men I know that are married can handle just the one!! :-D. much less two or three woman demands and needs. It is usual the group of woman that take care of each other emotionally. My bet his ole’ style ole’ ‘polygamy’ is really just ole’ dog.
I actually have no problem with the original form of what some call Polygamy but I believe was actually Polygyny (meaning many women). I cannot find anything in the Bible forbidding it and I can see, for a lot of women, it would be a positive - especially in communities where dads won’t marry their partners and either end up in jail or run for cover as soon as they get a woman pregnant.
I must say though it would not be for me - I have it too good as is with my wife and I wouldn’t want to change that dynamic at all!

I got married on March 19th, 1995. I loved my wife. I had dated her for five years, and she pleased me so much I never ever thought for one moment about seeing someone else behind her back. She has brought me some of the most treasured moments of my life. If I had to do it all again, there would be no hesitation at all.
Some people in their diminished state, seem to have to tell themselves that everyone is like them, to relieve the burden they carry, knowing how pitiful they truly are.

Polygamy reflects a cultural system that has not gained the self discipline necessary to be a civilized cultural system. It gives in to man’s animal nature which makes him a breeding machine. There are many things a civilized culture demands of its members. One of those things is each man has only one wife. The other thing is do not covet another man’s goods. And, of course, we know that taking another man’s life is prohibited.

Well there are a lot of people who don’t let Christ into their Christianity.
The guy needs to wear a bone through his nose.
Or just to hide in the tall grass from a shame they know they need to get right. It happens to everybody, just in different ways.
