Congressman to Constituents: Proceed on Healthcare.gov At Your Own Risk
The Washington Free Beacon ^ | December 3, 2013 | Staff

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Rep. Mo Brooks (R., Ala.) is warning his constituents to not go on healthcare.gov, the Obamacare website, unless they’re “willing to accept the risk that their identities will be stolen.”

The online health care exchange has been beset with glitches since its launch, with one particularly alarming issue being users having their personal information compromised. The Washington Free Beacon reported Tuesday that the marketplace is even more vulnerable to security breaches since the administration “fixed” Healthcare.gov, according to a cyber security expert.

Brooks, therefore, bluntly said he would not recommend anyone from his district, Alabama’s 5th, go on the site. He made the remarks in an interview on The Laura Ingraham Show Tuesday.

RAYMOND ARROYO: Would you recommend to your constituents signing up then for Obamacare given the security lapses and vulnerabilities?

MO BROOKS: Absolutely not. They in no way, shape, or form should get on the healthcare.gov website unless they are willing to accept the risk that their identities will be stolen or that they will be subject to some kind of deception or fraud.

Quit playing Obama's game.
IMPEACH the KENYAN TURD !

Only idiots and the evil voted for Obama, or ANY of the Democrats.
They've lied to us, constantly, and really are "Collapsing the System".
And now, these "Useful IDIOTS" who voted for them, are buying the lies that "Obamacare was designed to work." ?
It was designed to fail from the start.
THEN ... THEY GO TO THE "SINGLE-PAYER SYSTEM". They've been sucking our wallets dry for over four years now on the "Obamacare" LIE.
AND NOW THEY WANT MORE TAXES ?
Our Founding Fathers would have hung them already!

Lets review: So Democrats,
Sen Mark Kirk's statement Thursday, Dec 1, 2011 ... It's not our fault that DEMOCRATS raided the Social Security Trust Fund.
Let's remember ...

The reality of this? Imagine a couple of Microsoft engineers coming forward as a new release is about to occur, and telling the public not to buy into the release because it won’t work as promised. The product, for better or worse, is a failed product from that point on.

I am reminded of a German mechanic I used once for my Dodge Dakota. While working on problem one, he created problem two. While working on problem two, he created problem three. He eventually gets back around to fixing problem two, and after a while...both one and three were fixed to a minor degree (the timing was never the same after this). I see the same behavior and careless nature with this group. They never understood what they were doing in the first place.

About 2 weeks ago, I read that Pelosi and her Repub peer on a security committee both recommended that the website be taken down until secured.
Then I read that a white hat hacker “proved” the website was not secured.
Then I read a security agency said that security had never been built into the system and applying it after the fact would be laborious.
Then I read that the website is linked to a data hub (organizations like IRS and Social Security - these have everyone’s data pre loaded) and that navigators have access to the data hub.
Then I read that there was an expose video tape of a Navigator offering to bundle and sell applicant data on the black market.
How much more insecure could it possibly get. Yes - it no doubt is quite a feeding trough for hackers even as we speak. My question is “did they get access to the hub” and what percentage of the Navigators are selling our data?

Unfortunately, he is providing truth to the Media... Good thing that someone is, unfortunately it will only be taken as another knock on Obamacare by the Media. That’s okay because in the long run, the Media will be eating their words! Truth always outs in the long run...

If you even go to that stinking website, don’t enter any information.

Imagine the cries when dem voters a year after applying for their great new healthcare have their identities stolen and healthcare.gov is the culprit. Haha.

My boyfriend feels I am silly not to do banking and bill paying on line. I don’t mind writing checks and figure I am safer that way. Who is correct?

If the GOP Congress was serious about opposing Obamacare, they would prove it was illegally released as fulfulling FISMA criteria. It does not fulfill them, and to try to say it does is a fraud. Healthcare.gov is illegal.

CGI federal will be in the crosshairs of lawyers who represent people who’s info was stolen after signing on to obamacare.

Seems to me that if more congress critters told their constituents to beware of the website, the Dem’s would be forced to come clean on the security risks. They’re keeping mum now. To acknowledge any security risk is to doom the mandate roll-out.

The zer0care website is a hackers dream come true. Those signing up and putting all of their information there to be stolen. There is no doubt this flaw, glitch, or whatever they want to call it was designed purposefully for the purpose of granting hackers complete access. Did everyone see the screen shot (captured by a Freeper .. can't recall nick at this time) of the chinese writing on the website? The hacking on the zer0care website has gone worldwide.

Banking and bill paying is secure. HTTPS is still secure. However, they are planning to upgrade internet security at the transport level because HTTPS will not be secure soon enough. The banking websites are well-built and durable.

Guess I’m just old and old fashioned. Have never trusted a website to be secure. Too many rooms full of hackers (worldwide).

You have more risk from getting scammed out of your funds than you do someone getting your banking or bill paying information. But writing checks is okay too. I do both.

THAT is terrifying. Basically, we’re all sitting here waiting for the other shoe to drop, and checking the balance in our banking and credit card accounts daily to see if our identifies have been stolen. It’s not a matter of “if”; it’s “when”.

I really think the lack of security was intentional in order for identity thieves to have a field day.
More chaos and disruption. It follows a pattern.
Big gov creates a crisis then comes back around with a solution to the crisis.
Remember “never let a crisis go to waste”?

I have always believed that the Obama gang is setting the table for either an economic trainwreck or a terrorist attack or both in order to take advantage of the situation.

Well, they just gave Iran the green light to proceed with their nuke weapons program and here we are in the middle of a multifaceted assault on the American economy from DC.

It is still just mind boggling that Americans are doing this to America.

I agree. Are we certain they are all Americans though in the zer0 administration?

I call it the Nero complex.

Burn it down, move in and rebuild to their own liking and advantage.
