Scotland is part of Britain.

Britain, for all the mistakes and problems, is not lost, and all the posts on FR or what America thinks, dosent make it true.

We have serious problems with Islamic extremism in the young, but we are not a dhimmi country nor conquered. Nor will we be. It will take us some time to fight the problems of extremism, but we are not lost. Such claims are made by people who don’t live in the UK, and decide what the UK is based on news and the internet.

The Muslim population (not all of whom are of Pakistani descent) in the UK is 4%. 4, not 10, or 20 or 25. And of that four percent, the vast majority are decent, non extreme people living and working. The minority of extremists is therefore a tiny minority, albeit very dangerous and need to be destroyed, within a minority.

As to Scotland, it, like Wales and NI, has very small Muslim populations: ours is 0.9%. 50000 Muslims based mainly around one city, Glasgow.

Because its very small, the Scottish Muslims have never had a problem with extremism and in fact were the first to clamp down in the 90’s on any trouble. And in the one race-related Muslim murder (Kris Donald in Glasgow), the community leaders worked with the Scots police and govt to get the killers extradited from Pakistan to face trial.

In fact, the only Scottish Muslim terrorist of note so far is a WHITE convert from Dundee!.

No it isn’t.

Why not actually come here and see how the reality reflects your perceptions?.

Scotts, we have argued the climate of personal liberty in UK for some time. Usually it’s about guns because that’s personal property, but freedom of speech is right up there, too.

I just read about the principle of parliamentary sovereignty in UK. Does that mean that Parliament is unanswerable? I remember when Official Secrets Act was thought tantamount to creating a British KGB.

Do you believe that Geerd Wilders and Robert Spencer are rejoicing over the free publicity by being banned from UK? I think them saddened by this arbitrary action, especially when Anjem Choudary & other Muslim spokesmen say some truly deadly things without any official reproof.

And yes, Stacey Dooley is one cool girl who stands up to the Muslim radicals. Hope she’s allowed to keep a shotgun.

Real question: under what circumstances & with what authorization can British police enter a citizen’s home unannounced?

1—’I just read about the principle of parliamentary sovereignty in UK. Does that mean that Parliament is unanswerable?’

In theory, yes. Although many would argue not actually.

2—Police can only enter premises without a warrant if a serious or dangerous incident has taken place. There seems outside the UK to be some confusion with the ‘warrant card’ all British police carry:

So, a warrant card is simply a police officer’s ID & proof of rank/authorized powers.

Not the fabled “pocket warrant” that some Yanks believe makes judges unnecessary when police are searching homes.

Back to topic: were Geller & Spencer denied entry to UK because their views were deemed innately offensive, or did the Home Office fear Muslim riots were they to speak?

Maybe they remember how Lord Achmed buffaloed the House of Lords over the “Fitna” video. Threatened to surround Parliament with 10,000 angry Muslim men if it aired in chambers (sorry, couldn’t resist).

Geller and Spencer (and sadly others): I don’t know, we can only speculate. Perhaps a bit of both. Perhaps just the first: being PC. I don’t remember any warnings of mass riots/protests if they arrived.

Nobody here has heard of them (Wilders was different), only people like me who are on FR or RightNation. Geller and Spencer have never appeared on radio or TV or print. We should have let them in, their audience here would have been tiny. The media might have picked them up or rejected them as extreme, I don’t know.

Free Speech: A Muslim saying he’ll cut your head off for not obeying Islam.

Hate Speech: Quoting the Muslim saying he’d cut off your head for not obeying Islam.

It’s on the same island. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

But if they all want to go off island for a two week vaca while the island is nuked (with neutron bombs) then go ahead. Just don’t tell the others.

Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller speak truth. That’s why the Jihadists pay off the British cowards in high places to do this dastardly deed of banning the noble and good and peaceful people who understand the pure hate and evil of Islamic Jihad. What they have done is tantamount to hating and banning Jesus or Moses, while kissing the arses of those who are just waiting to kill non-Muslims.

Read your Koran, Brits, read it and learn. If anyone wants the truth about Islam, read Robert Spencer’s books. Spencer is not the only one who tells it like it is. He’s articulate and has facts and knows the Koran and Hadithas, so the Muslim Jihad propaganda machine threatens those who invite Spencer to speak.

Geller simply reports the savage killings and physical atrocities the Muslims carry out every day across the globe. For that they scared that the pattern will be clear before they finish their job. Muslims are the biggest censors in the world.

Freedom of speech advocates are eerily silent about the biggest censors in the world. The avoid the elephant in the living room. Are they scared? We are in a dark, dark time and it’s getting darker. Muslims are afraid that people will learn what they really are.

If Britain had a brain, they’d give knighthood to Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller and Michael Savage. That’s about the only way they can try to right to terrible wrong that Britain has done. Brits who read this: Speak, up. A travesty has been committed by your government.
