History will record that on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary met to consider the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama.
They didnt use that word, of course. Republican leaders frown on such labeling because it makes the House majority look, well, crazy.
It is, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) said from the dais, the word that we dont like to say in this committee, and Im not about to utter here in this particular hearing.
One of the majoritys witnesses, Georgetown law professor Nicholas Rosenkranz, encouraged the Republicans not to be so shy. I dont think you should be hesitant to speak the word in this room, he said. A check on executive lawlessness is impeachment.
This gave the lawmakers courage. Im often asked this, said Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) You got to go up there, and you just impeach him.
Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.), who has said there are enough votes in the House to impeach Obama, added: Weve also talked about the I-word, impeachment, which I dont think would get past the Senate in the current climate. . . . Is there anything else we can do?
Why, yes, there is, congressman: You can hold hearings that accomplish nothing but allow you to sound fierce for your most rabid constituents.

Repub’s chance is somewhere between “slim” and “none” and “slim” is packing his bags for the stagecoach.
Cue the surrender-monkeys, 3-2-1...
You too, are right on time.

Shut off all funding and shut down the government with absolutely no retroactive pay for anyone!!!!
“What good would it do? This Senate will never convict him, it would be useless and the MSM would gleefully demagogue the whole thing, switching the subject from the obvious failure of Bambicare, the economy and the rest of the mess these people are leaving.”
Bears repeating. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.
Impeachment is not going to happen in a democrat senate or a republican senate. It doesn’t matter what the petty dictator in the presidential palace does. He could kill new born kittens and the elderly in wheelchairs with chain saws on live tv and the liberals in the senate, both parties would do NOTHING.
Washington is corrupt beyond repair at this point and the law means what the petty dictator says it means as long as he has bureaucrats who are willing, and to get that paycheck they are willing, to ignore the codified law and do what their master tells them.
Arrest and shot for treason comes to mind too...
We had a great chance for conviction of Clinton. Obviously the Republicans did not have the brass for it, and they have even less now.

EXACTLY!
Should have been in motion by about 2010, at the latest, but beter now than never.
Better if I could spell properly.
I support conservatives. 75% is good enough. None are ever perfect. I won’t vote for RINOS who have the same agenda as democrats, but want to do it slower.
I used to think as you do. No more.
The best way to do it is to time the thing so the 2014 election becomes a referendum on the impeachment of Obama and let the people decide. If they leave the Senate to the rats so be it.
