Could this be the moment UKIP establishes itself as a political force to be reckoned with?
A rap video posted on YouTube yesterday suggests to viewers that the right wing party represents a viable alternative to the Conservatives. The rapper, who comes complete with a gold chain, trilby hat and tattoos, assures his listeners that UKIP's surge in popularity "ain't no mirage".
He goes on to tell the audience: "Vote UKIP for the real change... Party for the nation you may think's changed. The Conservative party and Labour party became identical, come check the flow..."
The rapper can be seen variously wearing a baseball cap, trilby and gold chain while singing from a number of different locations that look to be in the US.

And look...like the Tea Party, UKIP also apparently has people who are BLACK in their camp...something ignored and even denied by the mainstream media!
Roughly speaking yes, and the MSM here would love to pigeonhole UKIP as a racist party consisting entirely of angry white men, but that isn’t the case.
It’s much more of a libertarian outfit. Really an anti-EU party, capitalizing on widespread sentiment in the UK that they want to leave the European Union. I like them on some issues, not so much on others, but I think there are some really great people behind the scenes working for them.
Really the last hope for the UK.
Yes -- That's the way I see it, as well.
I love UKIP (at least, what I know about it so far), so I am not looking forward to viewing that bound-to-be-cringeworthy rap video mentioned in the article. Ugh.
“Someone from Britain can correct me if I am wrong, but I get the feeling that UKIP is the English equivalent of the Tea Party. “
Of course, UKIP has an intelecual and articulate leader who speaks the truth - Nigel Farage.
Yeah, I don’t like rap either. I did start a thread about a young white girl who raps about economics on youtube...Dorian Electra is her name.
To me, it is about communicating the truth.
There are Christian artists who rap the gospel; I don’t love the genre, and in fact can’t stand 99% of it...but if it communicates a better way to the kids, I will endorse it whole heartedly.
Styles and fashions of music and culture change...but the truth will remain the truth, no matter how it is communicated.
