Will Obama make the trek to Zud AFRiKa for the funeral and riots.. Maybe he will send ToTUS.. same thing.
The dark ages??
I can hardly wait to say that bout Jimma Carter...
“He’s on the ash heap of history now”.
A Communist mourning the death of another Communist..how cute
Mandela belongs to the worms, now.
Hopefully his adoring buttboy won’t be far behind.
Not original. Fail.
Let the school re-namings commence.......
I found it interesting tha Obozo..ever the Narcissist—starts his elougy by talking about himself “ the first political thing I ever did was protest apartheid.”!
Mandela DID seek to unite the country at a time the country could have crucified their oppressors..I have to give him credit for that!
Mandela was also a murderer. His wife was as involved as he in many nasty deeds.
Big deal to be made. Still, life for the average African is short, hungry, and scary. And they do it to themselves!
Oh, my.
“He belongs to the ages.”
Seriously, does he think he made this up? Is he unable to craft something else?
The smartest man in the world using an overworked phrase when Obama’s much vaunted erudition could be on display?
This is similar to all his speeches using schlocky metaphors and trite phrases from others’ speeches and literature.
~besides the fantastic falsehoods and wrong data.
Listening now to Mark Levin interviewing a gentleman who came from South Africa right now.
Couldn't Obama be more original? Look for Obama to make this about him. He will milk this for all it is worth to regain his popularity and to distract from Obamacare.
Where is the Barf Alert?
Let me finish the sentence with what OBastard actually said: “He belongs to the ages, FORE!”
Mandela was a scumbag. The world is a better place without him.
He belongs to the ages.
Yeah...right. Along with che, mao, stalin, marx...
Watch out folks. If you point out that he was a communist terrorist you will be called a racist.
I am talking about Mandela. I don’t think Obama is a terrorist.
The ironic thing is that there will be a movie about Mr. Mandella.
I find it adding further irony that President Obama is even now, after ditching the 150th anniversary of his 'hero', Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, he is now echoing Lincoln's Secretary of War, Edwin Stanton. When Lincoln breathed his last after that night of pain in dying, he said; "Now he belongs to the ages!" Gee, what a great inspiration but I guess Obama must take what he can get!
As for the comments from my fellow FReepers, I must FIRMLY disagree! He endured extreme tribulation in prison yet when he was released and then became South African President, he worked hard for reconcilliation that could have gone far worse (Rhodesia->Zimbabwe)! Retiring after a single term is a guide, you have to hope will sometime sink into the culture of Strong-man Africa! Yes, many of his ANC successors are far lesser men but that is also true of G.Washington!
