(But were too afraid to ask)
Ah, no wonder the progressive left idolized him.
and you’ll not hear a word about this in the lamestream media.
this takes attention away from bammycare for a moment....
They never pulled the wool over my eyes on this guy.
He was a fraud from the word go.
The end always justifies the means with these people.
4th thing:
Didn’t know he was still alive.
Scratch that...
The article does not mention necklacing. Was that Nelson or Winnie who necklaced many people?
I guess I knew about this side of him and could not understand all the laurels that the press is pressituting.
“The apartheid regime was a crime against humanity; as illogical as it was cruel.”
And if you accept that unquestioningly, you’re no better than those who assume Mandela was a saint.
He was a terrorist without a valid cause.
Mandela was no Mugabe, but when I saw Ø eulogizing him all I could think was “one terrorist praising another.”
Also there was the bombing of a pub he was involved in that killed 23 men and women. He said in effect that civilians were legitimate targets in this war.
He was sainted for blowing up government buildings; the same thing for which Timothy McVeigh was executed.
Mandela killed innocents. McVeigh Killed innocents. Neither one deserves sainthood in my book.
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
He knows.
Sure seems to be a lot of confliction about this guy. To me, the greatest people are the unsung ones who are never mentioned in the press, but love their neighbors, serve quietly, fear God, and await the resurrection of the dead in Christ Jesus. They are all over the place.
Its a tragedy what is happening, what Bush is doing. All Bush wants is Iraqi oil. There is no doubt that the U.S. is behaving badly. Why are they not seeking to confiscate weapons of mass destruction from their ally Israel? This is just an excuse to get Iraqs oil. . . .
If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America.
Nelson Mandela, Jan. 30, 2003
It seems many on the Right are also willing to forgive and forget too.. much as today in an infiltrated WH as Islamic harmony is the rage of the day.
Mandela’s passing only shows how little real history is taught.
Nelson Mandela 1918-2013

Mandela began as a terrorist and never turned his back on monsters like Arafat and Castro, whom he considered brothers in arms. When he was released from prison by deKlerk, he showed unexpected statesmanship, counseling reconciliation rather than revenge, no small achievement in a country in which the liberation movement (led by Mandelas wife and party) placed oil filled inner tubes around the necks of former comrades and set them on fire.
But if a leader should be judged by his works, the country Mandela left behind is an indictment of his political career, not an achievement worthy of praise let alone the unhinged adoration he is currently receiving across the political spectrum.
South Africa today is the murder capital of the world, a nation where a woman is raped every 30 seconds, often by AIDs carriers who go unpunished, and where whites are anything but the citizens of a democratic country which honors the principles of equality and freedom.
Liberated South Africa is one of those epic messes the Left created and promptly forgot about.
