I’m in full agreement.
Any real Vet that is proud of his service would for certain keep his mouth shut in a commie country he fought against.
Many folks that did such work signed documents saying they had to keep their mouths shut no matter where they are at. Either this old fart never had anything to do with special operations, has dementia, or just an asshole libtard that thinks he’s special like they all do. I’m thinking of Kerry when I say the latter.
He probably had enough BS from irrational people for one year....
The 'Kuwol Regiment', or 'Kuwolsan' in Korean, meaning 'September Mountain,' was named after a mountain in western North Korea where the guerrillas sought refuge as soldiers of the North's Korean People's Army (KPA) swept down the Korean peninsula when war broke out.WHITE TIGERS
The Kuwol Regiment was just one of many groups of anti-communist partisans that were under the command of the U.S. Army 8240th Unit, nicknamed the 'White Tigers'.
The White Tigers co-ordinated some of the most daring missions of the Korean War, embedding undercover agents deep in enemy territory - sometimes for months at a time - spying on and disrupting North Korean wartime operations, according to documented histories of the regiment.
The unit, whose existence was classified until the early 1990s, was the predecessor to U.S. special forces. Members of the White Tigers were handpicked from the U.S. Army, and not told about their mission until they arrived in Seoul.
Thanks CYN.Afraid to ask the picture is of (((((((Hugs)))))):)
My impression is that the Norks would detain any veteran of that war .... the point is, they seized a U.S. citizen and dragged an "apology" out of him as the price of his freedom, after they'd offered him a traveler's innocent passage.
They welshed on their obligations of hospitality and protection under their laws, to do a political operation against a civilian.
Leaving by plane? That means he was no doubt flying Air Koryo, unique for being the worlds only 1 Star airline.
