A new Common Core writing assignment asks students to think like a Nazi and explain why Jews are evil. This story first broke back in April:

Think like a Nazi, the assignment required students. Argue why Jews are evil.Students in some Albany High School English classes were asked this week as part of a persuasive writing assignment to make an abhorrent argument:
“You must argue that Jews are evil, and use solid rationale from government propaganda to convince me of your loyalty to the Third Reich!”
Students were asked to watch and read Nazi propaganda, then pretend their teacher was a Nazi government official who needed to be convinced of their loyalty. In five paragraphs, they were required to prove that Jews were the source of Germany’s problems.
The exercise was intended to challenge students to formulate a persuasive argument and was given to three classes, Albany Superintendent Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard said. She said the assignment should have been worded differently.
“I would apologize to our families,” she said. “I don’t believe there was malice or intent to cause any insensitivities to our families of Jewish faith.”
One-third of the students refused to complete the assignment, she said.
Vanden Wyngaard said the exercise reflects the type of writing expected of students under the new Common Core curriculum, the tough new academic standards that require more sophisticated writing. Such assignments attempt to connect English with history and social studies.
I read all the comments on Twitchy about Huckabee’s statement. You should read them too. They represent the reaction of conservatives to Huckabee’s backpeddling. I found them very interesting.
As to listening to Huckabee firsthand, my stomach is just not that strong. You seem untouched by Huckabee’s role in his son’s crime. Yet it is Huckabee’s reaction/actions that are most repulsive. His son was much younger, and evidently already a sociopath. But why didn’t the father show more humanity in the situation? In the end, his reaction/actions are actually more disturbing than the son’s. Perhaps you should find an extensive article on the subject and learn everything Huckabee did & didn’t do. Who knows? You might just end up feeling a bit repulsed yourself.
If you hunt hard enough for a terrible devil in anybody’s life, you’ll find it.
And you’ll be in the position of the psalmist: “I said in my alarm, ‘All men are liars.’”
A rather useless position to be in.
What will actually happen to you will be spiritual blowback. Demons in YOUR life will start to get embarrassingly exposed.
I suggest not playing games with God.

Says he/she’s a reformed liberal and Christian, which I take at face value. Liberals (or any other sinners) usually don’t reform overnight. There’s a lot of old baggage that has to be gotten right and it can take decades sometimes.
Demonization can’t just be hauled over intact into the Christian life. It has to be transformed into looking for good things where formerly bad things were sought out.

Yeah, you go ahead and try that Alinsky crap with me. You want to lie about what he was saying about Common Core and excuse it by finding an entirely unrelated subject that's on you.
Saul Alinsky was devoted to the principle that “Satan is king.” That is how FW may have been, if FW was an intense enough liberal.
Losing these principles doesn’t always happen overnight in practice.
Best of luck to him on his journey out of hell. He’s going to need it at this rate. In the meantime he’s turned his tactic of demonizing those he doesn’t agree with on me now and set himself that much further apart from the truth.

God judges me; people’s sins don’t. If I got blasphemed by a sinner it might be a disconcerting experience, but God is higher than all that stuff.
I’m not judging his soul just his words and they seem to twist and turn the truth at every step. Where ever he’s coming from or going to it’s going to be a rough trip.
If getting angry & nasty & calling people a liar were sufficient to win a debate, you’d have won this one many posts ago.

It was the evidence that won it. Not much of a debate with someone who won’t hear the evidence, uses ridiculous red herrings as excuses and engages in demonization tactics instead of rational responses to the substance of things.
The strongest evidence was in the first link I posted—the roots of Common Core. It’s germane because Huckabee initially supported Common Core. Yet if you read my first link, you will see it was progressive/communist oriented from the beginning.

You really ought to read the article at the link. It’s meticulously researched and documented. There isn’t a single lie in it. If you want the truth about Common Core, it’s all right there—one stop shopping. It’s a real eye-opener; definitely worth a read.
That article is "meticulously documented?" You must be a complete idiot or the worst liar ever. It's very short, sorely lacking in details and doesn't even attempt to present the history of Common Core.
