Iran is using diplomatic pouches to smuggle weapons into and out of the country, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said Monday. The Iranians are taking advantage of diplomatic mail in order to transfer these items, Yaalon told Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina, who is visiting Israel. They are taking advantage of the drug smuggling routes from South America into the United States in order to move weapons there, he said.
Iran, said Yaalon, was pulling out all stops in order to export its Shi'ite Islamic revolution to the West, preparing communities of Shi'ite Muslims for the day they must help Iran achieve its goals.
They are building a terror infrastructure in South America to attack Jews and Israeli interests, he said, but they are also using these bases that they have built in places like Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Venezuela to act against the United States.
It was via this network, he said, that the Iranians were able to smuggle weapons in the U.S. to attempt an attack on the Saudi embassy in Washington, which was foiled only at the last minute.
All this shows the Islamic Republic's ability and plans their desire for world hegemony, using terror to achieve it, Yaalon said. Their terror network worldwide shows their ambition. .... .....

Hmm. Does anyone seriously think for even one moment that the US is not currently using diplomatic pouches for EXACTLY these same illicit purposes?
Obama: “We’ll have peace in our time.”
Not in Iran! Remember what happened at our Embassy there?
Nope. Mostly because I was born in 1990.
But I have read about those 'olden days' in history books. That was back when we had a Democrat President who thought that he could successfully appease a radical muslim state with no ill effects. I'm so glad that America learned from that mistake.
I was your age in 1979. I have learned this country has a very short memory. I’m glad to see someone your age see things as they really are.
Canada got it right...

But that doesn’t mean that a country that finds out America is using diplomatic pouches for illicit purposes in their country will not be PO’d, or that by doing things like that, America forfeits its right to be PO’d, too. Unofficially, it goes on in general. In the specific, it cannot be tolerated by any one country when discovered. You don’t have to show moral superiority in order to justify defending yourself from a threat or a breach of trust. If the threat is present, it must be defended against. Period.
What? And you think we have people in foreign countries ready to attack civilains in malls or other public places? Ask your friend Obummer who he has targeted for a drone strike. Does a hellfire missile fit in a pouch?
“We’re gonna need a bigger pouch...”
Thank you! IMHO, it is the arrogance of every generation to think that nothing important happened before they were born. Thus we repeat the mistakes of the past about every 20 years.
In much of Wyoming that sentence will end with an introduction to some of the best trauma facilities the USA has to offer.
