MEGYN KELLY, HOST: We are seeing new reports tonight about another possible consequence of the health care overhaul. While media outlets continue to dig into the issue of losing your plan or losing your doctor -- you can see this cover here on the Cincinnati Enquirer -- we are now hearing that you may also be losing your prescription drug coverage, or at least find to get much more expensive.

My formularies before and after are exactly the same. That’s the first thing I checked. I am with the same company, just changed from the old cancelled plan to the new coverage. The pharmacy coverage is provided through Express Scripts and the formulary hasn’t changed.

We shall see.
A lie is still a lie, and do you really expect Obama to tell the truth?

Whatever, two private companies told me the list of approved drugs isn’t changing for me.

Catastrophic coverage is now illegal. The minimum standard set by the government is what the bronze plans are.

My son and daughter-in-law were complaining today that they had to pay for these upgraded plans that they don’t even want. They are livid. This just might get them involved in politics (they are young, early 20’s and are just figuring out how messed up things are).

And my daughter-in-law’s work offers a very expensive plan, almost as much as she makes per month. I think that since her work offers it, she’s not eligible to get heath care on the exchange. She was pretty mad when I told her that. I’ll have to verify it.

Yup- that’s what I saw too about deductibles and copays. I find a $50 copay to be pretty high, but at least the deductible doesn’t need to be met first. But with an MRI or anything more, those deductibles that need to be met are huge.

Sad to say, I can’t wait to see the backlash when the low information Obama voter who is so excited about their subsidized health care starts complaining about their bills.

When your plan covers nothing before meeting the deductible, and the deductible is the same as the out of pocket cap, and that magic number is $6k that seems pretty catastrophic to me.
