Rep. Alan Grayson loses $18M in stock scheme

Florida Rep. Alan Grayson, known as a heated defender of Democratic Party principles and partisan attacker of Republican views — especially during the Obamacare debates — was one of more than 100 victims of a massive stock trade scheme.
He lost about $18 million, the congressman’s office said, Fox News reported.
Mr. Grayson‘ loss came to light during the court sentencing of William Dean Chapman, who was given 12 years in prison for taking investors’ money and using it to buy a Lamborghini, a Ferrari and a $3 million house.

Notice how often liberals get caught up in this kind of thing, either as victim or perp. They think that “capitalism” is about manipulating numbers, getting money from government, or cheating people, because that’s how they make money. Being a trial lawyer is the most honest way a liberal makes money. Think about that!

Begs the question ... where and how does a congressman accrue such wealth that he can manage to lose so much money? Was he an ambulance chaser before entering politics?
