Democrats are ready to propel another one of President Barack Obamas court picks through the Senate, now that outnumbered Republicans have less power to block the presidents nominees than they used to.
The Democratic-led chamber planned Wednesday to consider Obamas choice of Cornelia Nina Pillard to join the influential U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
That debate was allowed after senators voted 56-42 on Tuesday to end GOP delays that had prevented a vote on her confirmation. Her approval was expected in the next day or so.

I think all republican senators should just abstain. No reason to pretend these votes mean anything.
Republicans should stand up and walk out every time scumbag Harry Reid pimps one of his ‘rat whores.
Would that be a lack of quorum, or something like that ?
All the more reason to work to get conservative senators elected in ‘14. What goes round comes around!
Maybe. Not sure. Reid could force a quorum by having senators brought to the chambers forcibly. There’s no reason to give him the pleasure.
When/if the GOP gets a majority in the senate and the presidency,
the dems will demand and get the rules changed back.
What would happen if enough senators resigned? Can quorum rules be applied?
NOW that Congress has been rendered totally useless, the RATS are busy stacking the courts with hard left unelected judges, who cannot be fired or removed. IT’S over, when does the 2nd Revolution start?
After Reid went nuclear and destroyed established senate rules, the Republicans should refuse to do anything. But they will continue to go along as though nothing has happened. The Dems are playing them for suckers — again.
I predict that just before next years elections, the Rats will change the rule back and the GOP will be stupid enough to leave it that way.
Exactly. They will claim “we only used it just it couple of times; we never meant for it to be permanent.” Then the Republicans will give the Dems a pass and the senate will go right back to the old rules. Dems win again.
There’s not much advantage in having Republican control of the senate. Its nothing to get excited about because Republicans never play to win and they are easily manipulated by the Dems and their pals in the media.
Those are the Dems’ partners in crime. Both are playing the voters for suckers.
I completely agree with you. (See my posts)
Repubs refused to fight this, they refused to fight Obamacare, they are embracing immigration, and Paul Ryan has a budget....what else is there to say?
Both are playing the voters for suckers.

Absolutely right. The Republicans want our votes and our money, but not our principles. Its a devious game but conservatives are slowly catching on.
Its an uncomfortable thought, but to their credit, the Dems actually fight for their priciples and don’t suffer defeat easily. I have grudging admiration for that.
what else is there to say?

Republican actions (and inaction) speak louder than words. When they marginalized the Tea Party I was done with them.
They should be doing this on every single vote, no matter how small. Complete roll call votes on every single tiny issue that would otherwise be done with unanimous consent. Hourly quorum calls. There are lots of things they can do. Unless they are repealing 0bamacare, I don't care if a single piece of legislation makes it through the senate.
A parade of short haired ugly butch women. Just the way Obama likes ‘em.
