I stand corrected. But I think you agree with my statement. The political bureaucrats from the larger cities of NY state are controlling those living in the hinterlands. Jobs are like hens teeth and the young are leaving for jobs in other areas.

There is nothing wrong with NY State that couldn’t be solved by hacking off everything from Westchester on down and making it its own state. We just need to figure out a way to move Staten Island up here away from the newly formed State of Commielibland when we do.

Doesn't match this:
The Star-Gazette of Elmira reports that the Stratford, Conn.-based subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. announced Monday afternoon that cuts in the federal defense budget played a role in the decision to close the company's military completions center in Big Flats, outside Elmira.
