Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio went down to Washington, D.C. today to meet with President Barack Obama, emerging emboldened that a progressive movement was sweeping the nation.

Once again new yorkers pick the best to run their city.
Good luck, just don’t whine about it later after all you elected him.

I will share equality as soon as that asshat can do my job.
Prepare to die as my job will kill you on a day to day basis.
No?
Get Bent.
De Blasio is now suffering from the disease that afflicts all New York City mayors: hubris and delusions of grandeur.
This is a pretty impressive city, in spite of all the trash talking about it. To land at JFK or LGA at night is a science-fiction experience. But it goes to their head. Even the great mayor Rudy kind of lost his perspective, and thought he could be president with Kerik at his side. Bloomberg we all know is the Energizer Bunny of Buzzkill.
So I think the bloviating progressive is letting his imagination go away with him. He actually thinks Obama is copying the big-city mayors. Shows how out of touch he has been with national affairs.
Obama at least is still talking about equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome, which is what the untested mayor-elect probably thinks he’s going to be able to achieve.
He always knew he was wonderful, and wow, now everyone else thinks so too. Sugarplums are dancing in his head: governor (which has never happened to any NYC mayor), then the sky’s the limit. It’ll be fun to watch.
Those commie Mayors are some of the most dangerous people in America, as dangerous as Obama.
No surprise commie De Blasio was a big fan of Mandela.
Mandela on Castro and the Cuban revolution:
From its earliest days, the Cuban Revolution has also been a source of inspiration to all freedom-loving people. We admire the sacrifices of the Cuban people in maintaining their independence and sovereignty in the face of the vicious imperialist-orquestrated campaign to destroy the impressive gain made in the Cuban Revolution.
Long live the Cuban Revolution. Long live comrade Fidel Castro.
On the U.S. war with Iraq:
If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America. They dont care for human beings.

Those quotes were from Nelson Mandala. But De Blasio obviously isn’t an American patriot. He is way far left. He supported the Soviets, Sandinistas and Castro.
I’ve landed at jfk and ewr at night. You’re right about the experience. I do miss the city. H&M in particular.
Why’d y’all have to elect a commie? :P
Absolutely. Yet most people would laugh at us when we tried to warn them communists were still around and trying to take over the country. And there are STILL know-nothing jerks around that don’t believe it!
progressive movement=communist movement

Anyone that does not see that this is happening now is in denial.
