George Zimmerman can now add "painter" to his resume after the former neighborhood watchman purportedly listed an original painting on eBay.

The 18-by-24-inch canvas features a blue, waving American flag with the words, "God, one nation, with liberty and justice for all" emblazoned across it.

The auction was posted Monday at a starting bid of 99 cents and is scheduled to end Saturday. As of Tuesday morning, 98 bids were logged for the painting, ratcheting the price up to $99,966. The next bid would top $100,000.

Zimmerman's brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., confirmed that George painted the piece.

"Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experiences," the item description reads. "My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors."(continued)

It looks as good as anything Picasso ever did.

One of the first defenders against the knock out game with a player that violated the one hit rule.

As soon as St. Trayvon’s grifter relatives find out George has any money they will be rooting around after it like feral hogs.

Actually, Picasso could paint very, very well. That didn't pay so well. At one point he was freezing in an abandoned building and had to set his own paintings on fire for heat. He eventually found there was more money in cubism.

they can’t florida’s syg law has tort reform built in.

if the perp’s family sues then their case will be tossed and they will have to pay all court fees and costs. It further opens the state to malicious prosecution claims.

Thanks - that's good news.

But you know they would if they could.

Their 15 minutes of fame was up a while back and I imagine sales of the Official Trayvon Hoodies and Official Trayvon Memorial Skittles they peddle have dropped off considerably.

I wouldn’t put it past some people to drive the bid up and never pay it.

Actually, Picasso could paint very, very well.

Yes, I know that. But I'm basing my opinion on what he was best known for.

According to DUh, he hosed that artwork from Getty images and although I don’t have a link, it sure looks like it.

That would badly affect their feedback score...and positive feedback is like crack to sellers and buyers on Ebay. Of course, I have 100% positive feedback on the site...as both seller and buyer. lol

I visited Picasso’s home when we were in Europe years ago. Once you get there, the guides hand you wine glasses and cheese while she leads the group around the home. After each tour, they lead you to the veranda’ for paella’. They just want you to enjoy the atmosphere and the remaining paintings on a full stomach I guess..

10-4 on that, I've got a perfect score on over 300 transactions.

I do a lot of shopping on EBAY and some selling, that score is important.
