Jerry Brown, urged to run for president, won't rule out 2016 bid
Los Angeles Times ^ | December 17, 2013 | Mark Z. Barabak

If he weren’t the nation’s oldest governor, a ripe 75, Jerry Brown would automatically be counted among serious Democratic candidates for president in 2016.

He boasts a household name, an impressive list of accomplishments in the country’s most populous state — a state some once deemed ungovernable — glowing national media coverage and a deep familiarity with the pitfalls and rigors of a White House bid, having run three times before.

You gotta admit that the words President Moonbeam have a nice ring to them.

The sad things is that this pathetic pothead would be far, far better than the “thing” currently stinking up the White House.

Well with Biden, Hillary, and Brown, the Dems would give new meaning to the “Senior Tour”.

Moonbeam would surely name his good friend Hanoi Jane to a Secretary position.

Jerry Brown or Hillary. Gonna have to think on that one. I really don’t expect the GOP to run anyone capable of winning.

His dad, Pat Brown was elected in 1958, then four years later, beat Richard Nixon, then four years after that, was defeated by Ronald Reagan. Then eight years later, Jerry succeeded Reagan as governor.

Then Jerry was mayor of Oakland, then Attorney General, and now governor again. His life has been about the government.

Have you seen Linda Ronstadt lately? Just think of how Bridget Bardot “aged” on steroids. But then again Jerry married a woman who looks like a man, so go figure!

Let’s see.... Ronald Reagan was 69 when elected...the libs said he was too old.

...at the age of 73 he retorted in debate...when they said he was too old... “I will not make age an issue of this campaign.”

Now, now... Jerry Moonbeam is 75 which means he’ll be 78 when election comes up?
Joe Biden will be 74 by the time 2016 rolls around...if he makes it.
Hillary will be 69 (yuk)

The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me.

So was Bridget. BTW, did you see where Ronstadt was physically thrown out of a Las Vegas casino for interjecting her political views in her act? She looked like a beached whale!

The country has gone so low into the gutter with its political leadership that all these losers are saying to themselves and with a good reason “hey, I’m better than that!” Angela Davis will be next to declare.

Jerry Brown would be better than a lot of RINOs. No I’m not kidding. Last time he ran, he was pushing a flat tax.

At least with Jerry, you get stabbed in the front where you can see it coming.

Jerry should run for president in 2016 and if Hillery’s lucky she could share the ticket.

What a pair. An ugly bald-headed idiot and a dumpy old hag who is forced to wear depends. No more strapping on the tools for this water buffalo.

At least Jerry was brought up American.... And, I went to school with his niece, so we got a private audience with him in Sacto way back when. Plus, I know where he went to school, his classmates, so on. (In other words, he’s not a figment of someone’s imagination/Manchurian...)

I saw her at a local salon about 20+ years ago, and I couldn’t believe how far downhill she had already gone then. She might have been able to cover it up with makeup/stuff for awhile, but I could never get that image out of my head (she looked unkempt and acted a bit dour).
