Well, things just escalated quickly in Massachusetts.
Warren Tolman, a former state senator and a current candidate for Attorney General of Massachusetts has basically said he will use the Massachusetts equivalent of an executive order to require that all guns sold in the state incorporate finger print scanning technology that would make the gun usable by only its owner (aka smart guns).

Wouldn’t that come under “shall not be infringed”?
There are, of course already hundreds of infringements on the 2A.......unfortunately, the people are getting what they vote for...........

There are a lot of Dems here in MA. Most of them are NOT Liberal whack jobs. A lot of them are gun owners.
This asshat has over estimated the popularity of such a measure. He will lose.

I didn't know ATs can issue executive orders.
Even in Massachusetts, I don't think this would go over well. There are a lot of gun owners, even with all the crazy restrictions already in place.
