“I spent a lot of time with him and I’ve grown to really like him,” Reid said. “Even though he has some set political views, he wants to get things done here.”

Reid later quipped: “I hope I don’t ruin him with the Republicans.”

In an interview one day earlier, Paul’s recollection of the meeting didn’t seem as cheery as Reid’s. Paul has been demanding a vote on his “Audit the Fed” bill, using the threat of holding up Janet Yellen’s nomination to chair the Federal Reserve as leverage.

Rand Paul's most recent article on Brietbart, which he was forced to move to after the Washington Times buckled under to Lesbian Wack-Job Rachel Maddow's ridiculous hectoring that he was "plagiarizing" by using some political talking points from a newsletter without attribution, in a previous article. Rand is smarter, and has been offered the lesson of Rubio. He knows what they’re trying to pull.
