Conservative group touts McConnell's work with Paul
The Hill ^ | 12/17/13 | Alexandra Jaffe

A conservative nonprofit is launching a new ad touting Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) as partners in the fight against ObamaCare.

The ad, from Kentucky Opportunity Coalition, is backed by a $382,000 buy and will run for a week across the state.

“For Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, fighting ObamaCare isn’t about politics. It’s a fight for the Kentucky families who are losing their health coverage,” the ad says.

It adds that the two are “working together to stop ObamaCare.”

The spot could give McConnell some cover on his right flank, where he faces a challenge from conservative Matt Bevin, by aligning him with Tea Party favorite Paul.

How could they fight against ObamaCare and not support Sen. Cruz? Liars.

I complained a lot during the last election that I was being bombarded by Democrat ads full of lies and saw very few ads from “Republicans”. Now that the Republican Party has been “rebranded” by the DNC, I hope it stays that way during the 2014 election. I’m tired of being lied to.

McConnell, like Orrin Hatch and Arlen Specter before him, is attempting to use his conservative colleague to get reelected. Then he will screw him!

Kentucky Opportunity Coalition = Kentucky Kickback Coalition?

Probably. They're pretty anonymous. I can't find a single individual's name on their web site.

And another fake conservative group pops their head up. I hope more do so and we will be able to tell real conservatives from the "I-pretend-to-be-conservative-to-get-elected" crowd.

Kentucky Opportunity Coalition should rename themselves "Kentucky Opportunity Coalition for RINOs".

that is definitely NOT a conservative group…. kind of like the ‘tea party’ third party candidates that pop up with dim money to back them

Who else is sick to death of Karl Rove’s arrogance and disdain for anyone conservative.

I called the RNC in DC couple of months ago and complained to some young punk kid that I was tired of the RNC following Rove’s lead and direction. The VERY snarky little punk (trying to be a lady here...) sarcastically stated...... “Maaaaaaaaaaaammm... I’ve been here for nearly a year and I have not ONCE seen Karl Rove’s name on any document” I very politely asked him just how stupid did he think I was.......? He didn’t answer. I said “pass on MY disdain for Rove and the mediocre, losing advice to denounce Tea Party people like me”

I reminded him they need my vote and they need to earn it.

This is so frustrating. Fighting Dems, Pubs and getting stabbed in the back by our own.

The Republicans in Massachusetts created front groups called “Irishmen for......” whoever their candidate was to oppose the Kennedys and other Irish Democrats they ran against.

Old dirty tricks with a new cover on them.
