Let's see -- who is more important -- our military veterans or a bunch of criminal aliens who defraud the taxpayers, us...

Keeping up the appearance of being "saviors" - cause massive problems and then undo a couple of them, leaving the main malignancy in place, while beating their chests and telling us how good and beneficent they are to their constituentssubjects.

Our politicians have assumed the mantle of a carny sideshow with two-bit magicians who always have something up their sleeve.

The decision to reduce the amount of money that Veterans will receive was not based on any traditional budgeting method. Paul Ryan and Patty Murray used a method they call THE COMPROMISE METHOD. Using this method, Patty Murray asked the Democrat base who they wanted hurt. The Democrat base told them to hurt the retired Veterans. Recent statements indicate that cutting the money to Veterans was never about reducing the federal budget. The money being taken from retired Veterans will be used to INCREASE the amount of money being given to the Democrat base in the federal budget.

You, my friend, need to Google some news stories about this abortion. Ryan admitted he authored the cuts, and said Chuck Hagel insisted on them. Ryan then took the airwaves to defend them. Moreover, when he was caught in the lie regarding disabled veterans pensions (they are also cut), he "scrubbed" his fact sheet and had to admit that as well.

If you don't believe me, do your own research.

Yes, it was Harry Reid and the Democrats who would not allow amendments to the bill the House already passed, but that does not negate the fact that Ryan and Boehner betrayed our military and retired military (to include retired disabled).
