Democrat Charlie Crist is enjoying a resurgence in his new party and currently leads Governor Rick Scott in internal polling conducted for the governor, according to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.
The survey was conducted by Governor Scotts pollster and showed Crist with a four-point lead over Scott among likely voters. Looking at a potential Democratic primary challenge from Senator Bill Nelson; Crist leads the long-time Democrat by 13 points.
According to the Herald, in a hypothetical Democratic gubernatorial primary, Crist beats Senator Nelson by a 45-32 percent margin. Nineteen percent of democrats surveyed said they were undecided in a Crist-Nelson hypothetical primary.

Even my Democrat neighbors told me they cannot stand Charlie Crist. They have come to see something is very wrong with Obama too. When Rick Scott ran here for Governor, he bombarded us with flyers in the mail continuously. He campaigned very hard nonstop. Charlie will have money from Morgan and Morgan ambulance chasers who campaigned for Obama in the last election. I cannot imagine Charlie Crist winning down here since he cannot make up his mind who he is and many down in Florida do not trust him. Quinnepac poll is liberal from all I have heard.
“Sorry, I meant to say that pyscho demented orange faggot Crist.”
Crist and Boner must go to the same tanning salon, but Boner is a little more pasty because of his smoking!
Nelson needs to start worrying about “the” ad!
His new “base” could easily be dissuaded by running ads of Crist’s speeches, clips of his own old ads, etc. from the 2010 primary wherein he claims to be the true conservative in the race, and all of his then new-found conservative positions.
This squirming, waffling chameleon of a man is an absolutely worthless career politician without an ounce of principle or core convictions, willing to change his stated position on any issue (and back again) whenever it's expedient.
Every Floridian who has followed this clown's career is aware of this fact, and I predict any electoral advantage he currently enjoys will evaporate, the closer he gets to an actual, "live" candidacy.
liberal crapaganda poll......nothing to see here, move along folks.
I did not know Nelson was running for governor: probably thinks Tallahassee will be more compatible to him as he ages. Like DC, isn’t Tallahassee full of liberals too?
In our right to work state, that's an automatic extra ten points at the polls.
Popularity is a funny thing to try to poll.
While I don't like everything Scott has decided, I also don't detest the absolute majority of his decisions.Mostly when it counts, he decides as I expected him to do so.
He's not what I would consider a right wing conservative, but OTOH, he is also not a commie/socialist.
Crist is not someone anyone who lives year round in Florida truly wants to elect for ANY position, paid or not.
Certainly not for Governor.
