Most consumers who have signed up – about 85% on average — are eligible for subsidies because they fall below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (about $90,000 in annual income for a family of four). And most of these folks are choosing silver plans.

In California, just 47% of those who have signed up have received a private health plan. The rest were put on Medicaid.

In Colorado, just 17% got private coverage, with the other 83% put on Medicaid. In Connecticut, 61% got private coverage, in Minnesota, 71%, Rhode Island 33%, and Washington State 11%.

But,but the POTUS was stressed out, overworked and needed his 300th vacation, at the tax payers expense, so that he could recharge is batteries.

What do the people who lost their medical insurance do to relieve their stress, they have no choice but try to deal with their problems. They don’t take a vacation, aside from the fact that they can not take one that is paid for by the tax payers.

Mac daddy cares nothing about their problems and the stress it causes them, his stress level and comfort is his only concern. Nothing and nobody is more important than him - NOTHING.

He has made himself the laughing stock to world leaders. They do not trust him let alone believing anything he does or says. Then agin he could care less do to the fact he loves himself so much that what other people think is meaningless to him and his giant ego.

And those people “put on Medicaid” have no idea how much risk they really took onto their family in the form of Estate Recovery.

If they are part of the ‘working poor’ and say the meager bread winner gets seriously ill and dies...the government will come after the survivors to recover those costs.

This leaves the family entirely vulnerable to utter destitution. This whole eventuality that people are not fully aware of makes me sick.

Ironically, I remember a liberal suggestion to the health insurance crisis as “Medicare for everyone”. Just expand the program, make everyone’s checks get Medicare deductions, and you can buy private supplement plans for what it doesn’t cover.

New programs only create a worse situation. The liberals made certain zer0care became the law. The suffering is only beginning, regrettably, unless the American People make another decision. I will count on the American People. I have to. For me and mine, there is no other choice but to believe in God, God's Son and the American People.

Sebelius threat to kick insurers off the exchange are going to be hollow. The exchanges are concentrating sick and poor people in their pool. The prices will continue to rise such that even those qualifying for subsidies will have trouble paying the ever higher premiums and deductibles. Of those insurers remaining, they will have to get even more money from the Feds.
Obama will respond by throwing out more money, extending deadlines, and granting more exemptions. All these actions will be unconstitutional, confusing, and contradictory. States need to fill the void by protecting their citizens from the mandate/penalty, and encouraging the sale of non-conforming health insurance.

I also expect them to sneak something in to an upcoming law making medical bills "unbankruptable"...so that even if you have one of the new plans with huge deductibles your assets will be taken when you find yourself with a $30,000 hospital bill and no way to pay it.

They will just do what people do with student loans. Pay them with credit cards and then go bankrupt.
