That rah-rah stuff would work, perhaps, if you were coaching an athletic team. But, I don’t suppose that they’ve ever erected a monument to a realist either. I reckon things depend on how well you trust your fellow man to act appropriately.

There’s something called steely resolve that has been part of everything major ever accomplished in world history. - and it would not fall under either your rah rah choice or Coach Collin’s defeatism.
The choice is yours. Just sit there and type and gripe or get out and work for someone you can believe in. I do it all the time. It works.
