Women comprise biggest opposition to ObamaCare
NY Post ^ | December 27, 2013

Remember Julia? That cute little cartoon the Obama folks created to illustrate how the president’s policies would provide “health and economic security” for women at all of life’s stages?

The real-life Julias aren’t buying.

A CNN/ORC International poll out this week finds 60 percent of women opposing ObamaCare. This follows a Kaiser Health Tracking Poll that found half of American women holding an unfavorable view of the law — against only 32 percent in support. In fact, almost all of the increase in the overall unpopularity of ObamaCare can be attributed to the growing number of women rebelling against it.

No doubt this explains why First Lady Michelle Obama has just launched her own campaign to get young people to “ring in the New Year with new coverage.” The White House knows it has a big problem with women.

We can’t say we’re surprised.

Product of voting for zero as an American Idol contestant rather than the leader of the free world.

There is not one party to which any agreement/s of which Obama has been the architect which have not managed to piss off all parties involved. All parties to his agreements are equally lied to, misled, bribed against each others interests, and paraded before the press as fruits of his wisdom. When it all goes wrong it’s someone elses fault.

Funny, I just read in the CNN poll that it was only men who were turning against Obama, the women were remaining firm with him.

I think CNN is avoiding the harsh reality of 2014!

Obamacare cuts LOTS of Women’s Services. Some are slowly awakening to the reality of the scam.

“Obamacare cuts LOTS of Women’s Services. Some are slowly awakening to the reality of the scam.”

Beyond that, many women in the workforce assumed their jobs would give them a noticeably better standard of living than just one income would. Now that many realize they are working just to provide what one income did 30-40 years ago, and it is THEIR paycheck taking the hit, they’ll realize they’ve been had.

Career women who gave up children to make the big bucks (and keep them) are realizing that they are simply transferring a protion of their check to subsidize Obama voters and his programs; every day they are surrounded by more people who aren’t “like them”...

I guess their fascination with choco love and supposedly larger penises may be ending as they realize they will always be cheated on Kardashian style.

I think the women who voted for O believed him when he said it will save the average family $2500/year. Reality is that it's costing the average family way more than that.

So far we're really just hearing about the self-insured. Wait till companies start dropping people. Even CNN won't be able to spin that when it starts.

The state run media will be able to spin it for the sheeple.
It will be the the Republicans fault and they won't fight back.

I expect you will see more and more polls like this.

The idea is to “push” voters away from Obama and the radical left and what is called the radical right, towards the center where Hillary will be running in her “Third Way” campaign.

Hillary’s “Third Way” campaign is dependent on painting both sides as extremist and Hillary as being moderate.

I believe you will also see more and more orchestrated news stories meant to divide the right and left.

For example the left comes out with their idea of what a man should be, pajama boy, the right has Duck Dynasty.

It wasn’t just a coincidence they happened at the same time.

It was coordinated to make a distinction between left and right and make both look extremist.

Sounds like it didn’t live up to the implied/inferred promise of

“we’ll take care of you without you needing a man around”.

Yeah, I’m starting to get to that point myself...
It may be defeatist, but I don’t think there’s any way we can vote ourselves out of this mess.

The only way it’ll get fixed is through a total collapse.
And the best thing anyone can do is to try to insulate their family from the most disastrous effects of the collapse.
Keep yourself independent - grow a garden, raise chickens, secure a water supply and a way to heat your home.
