A Tennessee health food store owner who claimed that three men beat him and robbed his store in an anti-gay attack was arrested for filing a false police report, according to The Paris (Tenn.) Post-Intelligencer.
Joe Williams claimed that days before Thanksgiving he was beaten by the three men outside of his store. The men, who he claimed were wearing ski masks during the attack, also allegedly robbed the store of $1,500, and doused it in gasoline. They also scrawled an anti-gay message on Williams forehead, and yelled anti-gay slurs at during the attack.
As is protocol with any potential hate crime, the FBI was called in to investigate.
But police dont seem to believe Williams story.
Paris police Sgt. Ricky Watson said that on three separate occasions Williams failed to offer up key pieces of information known to police, according to the Post-Intelligencer.
He was arrested for filing a false police report and released on $5,000 bond. Williams is scheduled to appear in court early next month.
If Williams did indeed file a false police report, this marks a long list of hate crime hoaxes over the past year. Some media outlets, including CNN, have dubbed 2013 The Year of the Hoax.
Last month, a gay New Jersey waitress claimed that a family left her an anti-gay message on her receipt. Internet users rallied to the waitress side and raised several thousand dollars for her before the accused family came forward and proved that the waitress was lying. In another elaborate incident, a transgender student who worked for Vassar Colleges Bias Incident Response Team was found to be behind a series of bigoted postings around campus. And earlier in 2013, hate scrawlings found at the liberal Oberlin College were discovered to have been carried out by two students, one of whom had helped campaign for President Obama.
Pretty bad when you have to set up a website to expose the false stories told by the left for sympathy and to demonize the right. They are getting desperate and sites like this inform the public of what liars they are.
A Tawanaism
but IO guess in the minds of libtards it is always worth the risk.
Do the police even bother trying to find a perpetrator other than the complainant anymore?
Just another facet of the queer derangement syndrome. When queers aren’t vectoring diseases or rimming another male, the whining coprophiles are always screeching, I’m oppressed.
Liberals believe that their cause is Right and just needs a little illustration. The police will surely know that it is like something that should really have happened and will go looking for someone that looks like a Christian or a Conservative to charge.Surely this time!
At the universities, especially, I wonder if these students are taking after hours courses to be trained as agents provocateurs.
WTF???????????????? Nut job!
"Fake, but accurate" is the phrase you are looking for :-)
Demons in flesh.
"Whining coprophiles", LOL. Oh, man that's great! I'm using it, thanks.
Maybe I am getting cynical in my old age, but it seems that every time I hear about an attack on the homosexual community or "racist attacks" on minorities my first thought is: "Another hoax?"
I know in my heart that this is not the Christian response.
Here’s my shocked face
: O
They have projected “violent and angry” on those whom they oppose,
but for some reason, just can’t get a good example to show this “truth” about the opposition,
so, they have to “raise awareness” with acts like this.
You forget, liberals/left-O-crats are smarter than you/us.
I think the word scrawled on his forehead, that could only be read with a mirror, was a dead giveaway.
The body carvings are always a tell-tale sign of a hoax.
Look up Matthew Shephard. He was supoposedly hung(crucified) on a barbed wire fence. That is the myth. Look up the REAL story in the ADVOCATE of all places.
The truth doesn’t matter to homosexuals.
