Then every doctor will retire & find another line of business.
My husband is now on medicare & asked his doc what changes Obamacare might have for him. The response was none, because he’d been a patient for years. But the doctor & the hospital would not be accepting any new Medicaid or medicare patients, as the reimbursement rates are too low.
Tough luck for all these folks thinking they’d be getting medical care for ‘free’!
The next step will be to require doctors to accept all Medicaid patients. Doctors have an option now and that’s a weakness in the program that will have to be fixed. The next time Dems run the whole show.
