According to the census bureau gays are only 2-4% of the opulation. I have asked people where I live many, many times what percentage of the population do they think is comprised of gays. The answer has consistently been in the 20-50% range. When I tell them it is 2-4% they all have the same reaction that there must be a mistake and that this cannot be right. But the irony is that in a year where it should be that the GOP should be able to run a shovel and win against whoever the Democrats run, the reality is probably closer to the opposite. The moochers simply have the votes.
