It'll be interesting to see if the homos' float gets booed as it wends its merry, gay way across the route.

If it was passing by in my neighborhood it would certainly be booed...but I'm not at all optomistic about a mainly-California crowd.

I was in the back seat with my granddaughter one time in SF. We were stopped at an intersection to allow the gay parade to pass by. (Obviously we weren’t aware of this beforehand) I had to keep my granddaughter occupied and not looking out the window so she wouldn’t have to witness the spectacle.

Probably just a pure business decision to sell more cards anyway they can. While I don’t agree with same sex “marriage” and view it akin to shacking up together I understand they are just trying to expand their line of products but the market will decide whether they last or not. I’m guessing it won’t be near the numbers they need to keep it as a standalone product.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an "older man." At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's "safe school czar".

According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night. ..."

On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure "to use a condom" when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10." In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old "left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated." ..."

Awhile back I read a fiction book called Prayers for the Assassin. In the book, The United States had been split in two following a nuclear attack. One part of the country was Islamic; The other Christian. The background provided in the book implied that many had turned to Islam as a reaction to societal decay.

In the book, the Islamic regime takes what one would call a rather dim view of homosexuals. There are scenes where their decapitated heads are lined up on bridges leading into Seattle (the Islamic capital).

When I read the book, I thought the premise was pretty out there. However, with events like this, it is as if fact is now following fiction.

I agree, and as a company they should have the right to do so if they feel it will help their bottom line. They included these cards back in 2008 so it’s not something new.

I just think that, in reference to the parade, they were aware of the fact that the wedding would take place beforehand.
