Police are investigating Democratic State Rep. David Campbell after he plowed over a number of ducks on the road at the Crowne Royal Hotel in Nashua. The Union Leader reported:
Police are investigating the death of a number of ducks allegedly hit by a vehicle operated by one of the city’s state representatives.
State Rep. David Campbell, D-Nashua, reportedly ran over the ducks at a speed of about 15 mph in the driveway of the Crowne Royal Hotel in Nashua. The incident is said to have occurred on Monday, Dec. 23, The Telegraph of Nashua reported Sunday.
Campbell issued an apology Sunday evening, received by the New Hampshire Union Leader Monday morning, explaining the incident.
A hotel guest told police that on arriving at the hotel by shuttle from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, he saw bystanders feeding some 20 ducks near the hotel.
Campbell’s vehicle soon turned onto the hotel access road, the witness said. The guest told the newspaper that after seeing Campbell’s BMW sedan hit the ducks, he ran after the vehicle and snapped a photograph of its House-issued license plate.
The man also claimed that Campbell suggested to him the ducks should have gotten out of the way.

What the hell? Eagles, ducks what’s next? Frigging pigeons or something? (BTW, ducks are covered under Federal law, like seagulls.) Any chance of charges? NAHHH, he’s a Dem.
Good for him this was in Nashua, NH, and not Memphis, TN. If he had run over some of the Peabody ducks, he’d be in a lot more trouble.
I’d suggest that the witness who snapped the picture get out of the state before he has a standard union/democrat style ‘accident’.
Unborn child and animals, dems don’t care, only life that is meaningful is their own.
Must be a revenge thing against the Duck Dynasty.
He didn't slow down or nuthin.

Someone shouted "duck" and instead of putting on the brakes he dipped his head into the steering wheel.
...or ground duck with a mango salsa.
Maybe he was too drunk to see the ducks.
Or maybe he thought they were miniature elephants.
