Obamacare Ignites Revolution Inside The Democratic Party

As 2014 midterms approach, some Democrats are running-not walking-away from Obamacare....coming out of the woodwork to voice opposition.

•39th President Jimmy Carter: "His major accomplishment was Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best."

•Barney Frank, former Massachusetts Congressman: "I think we paid a terrible price for health care."

•Former Democratic Presidential candidate, Howard Dean, a doctor: "The Affordable Care Act's Rate-Setting Won't Work."

Obamacare was primarily designed to decrease the number of uninsured Americans and reduce healthcare costs. But experts say it will have the exact opposite effect. What started as a promise to insure 40 million Americans has quickly morphed into another game of Washington politics. And average Americans are getting the short end-again.

.....on top of higher healthcare costs and skyrocketing deductibles, Americans will be hit with $1 trillion new taxes.....taxes that won't just affect those making over $250,000 a year......because while a majority of Obama's "stealth taxes" were designed to tax businesses, they're transferred directly to ordinary citizens.

According to former NY state Lt Governor Betsy McCaughey's extensive research, senior citizens will get hit the hardest. "If you're a senior or a baby boomer, expect less care," she says. "Hip and knee replacements and cataract surgery will be especially hard to get from Medicare." She warns seniors to get procedures done now before Obamacare goes into effect.

.... many will find it difficult to keep medical records private. "The law will compel Americans to share with millions of strangers who are not physicians confidential private and personal medical history." (from Betsy McCaughey's "Beating Obamacare: Your Handbook for Surviving The New Health Care Law.")

Picture if you will the two class society as it existed in the Soviet Union.

Imagine, if you were taking a successful country and turning it into the Soviet Union, how would you do it?

You do nt have to look any further the Obama administration. Obamacare is designed to do two things and two things only. Bankrupt the middle class and implement universal health care for the proles after the middle class is destroyed.

The party faithful and the elites are exempt.

The only thing keeping the United States from becoming the Soviet Union is the second amendment.

Replacing Obama will not prevent another demagogic president, nor reverse our trend into harder tyranny.

I say again, what is the solution?

You cannot come back to the middle without going radically to the right. It’s not just getting rid of Obama. It is purging the government/media complex. It is the systematic dismantling of the public education system. It is the review and remanding of bad laws and worse policy which stifles individual growth and opportunity.

It is the realization that there isn’t one pie to be sliced up but many pies that can expand and retract based soley on free market forces.

In my opinion, the solution is destroying anything and everything the left supports, and once done, making sure the left can never rise again.

Take away funding. “Based on your intolerance towards students and anti free speech policies, you have been deemed an institution promoting anti American values therefore your funding is being pulled.”.

Now force them to defend.

Reagan beat the Soviets by going on offense. He also forced them to spend money defending themselves. That’s how you win.

Take away funding.

We'll do that which hasn't happened in our history? Elect men and women so virtuous they'll stand athwart Washington DC culture and defund the Leftist juggernaut?

“What is the solution?”

I see three options:

1) Reform the Republican Party from the inside. This approach, which has been tried since Reagan in 1980, does not seem to be working.
2) A new “Liberty” party which would include the Tea Party backers and traditional conservatives. To pull off a new party some of the big names (Palin, Cruz, Lee, Jindal, Haley, possibly Gingrich) would have to break off from the Republican Party along with 100 or more Republican House members and 20+ Republican Senators. Then a strong showing in the 2014 and 2016 elections at the state, local, and presidential ticket for the new party. In addition, the new party will need some strong financial backing.
3) Breaking up the current republic. It may be the long term solution is for the core blue urban states (Northeast, West Coast, and upper midwest) to separate from the flyover states and southeast. Let the blue states be socialist/communist while the core red states form a new republic based on the limited government principles of the founding.
