A humble man doesn't gloat when he knows he's won. And so it was with Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson and his wife Korie in their New Year's Eve interview last night.
As the first members of their clan facing the public since A&E suspended their patriarch Phil Robertson for speaking his religious values in a GQ interview, Will and Korie Robertson definitely took the high road.
Rather than taking swipes at A&E for their actions, the Robertson's let their fans do the talking -- which they did in a massive backlash that forced A&E to back down. Instead they stayed positive, emphasizing family and their desire to continue their runaway hit show in the new year. Despite the best attempts of the Fox hosts to get them to engage the controversy (and despite technical glitches), the Robertsons would say only that they "have learned a lot" from the incident and would use it to remain stronger in the future.
The 'Duck Dynasty' family continues to go against the conventional wisdom, reflecting their Biblical values and positive attitude, earning increasing respect among their millions of fans.

Wonder why they forgot to mention that Phil shot a bunch of crows and sent them to the A&E executives to eat at their next corporate lunch.

There is no doubt that the Obama and all their Obamabots are trash!!! Actually......the folks that know the real skinny know that Obama is now the “Lamest” of POTUS “Lame Ducks”!!! However.....it is up to us....we the people....to destroy Obama and his Democrat, would be, America destroyers in the coming Mid-Term elections of 2014!!! Please do not forget or overlook that fact of life!!!
As for the “Duck Dynasty”.....they will continue on, even more successful then they were before the low life dregs of GLAAD and A&E Network pulled their little hateful act!!! I was with a group of family and friends last evening, and as I watched and listened to the banter of this and that, the ups & downs, I realized how powerful the family and friend units are. We may look at life through different eyes, on occasion....but the love and togehterness of the family/friend units trump all else!!!
The secular world of Obama, his Obamabots will not succeed....it never will!!! Family, Friends, Religion, Freedom, Liberty, rules. Obama, the evil doer has lost and always will!!!

Different strokes. That's why there's so many different channels - everybody can watch what they want. Personally, I like "Duck Dynasty" and "American Restoration". For some reason I find it fascinating to watch the craftsmanship on American Restoration as they restore old junk into its original glory.
Watch 3 hours straight of DD and your brain will be fried too.
There were Duck Dynasty cast members as guests of honor at the Possum Drop New Year’s Eve, haven’t seen any footage, don’t know whether it was the original at Brasstown, NC or the other one it inspired in north Georgia, though.
Did they? Most Churches of Christ don’t do Christmas Day services.

Depends on the show. Some shows are fascinating because of the technology of particular professions that are on display, as well as the characters and humor of those in that profession.
Personally, I like “Bering Sea Gold” and “Backyard Oil” the best. “Pawn Stars” is still educational in terms of the history of the items they deal with and their current pricing.
If it wasn’t for shows like these and football, I wouldn’t watch TV at all, because if one wants that which is truly beyond horrible, all one has to do is take a gander at ANY network TV series to see nothing but a wasteland of trite stupidity. Many “reality” shows are works of genius compared to network TV.

Actually, I can take only about one episode of DD per week. That’s enough to fulfill my brain-frying quota for the week. If you can take 3 STRAIGHT hours of DD, you’ve got a MUCH tougher brain than I do, FRiend!
I like the way that Willie and Korie interact with each other whenever they are on the screen at the same time as it seems like they demonstrate the principle of this verse very well....

It’s called growing pains.
I regularly watch Pawn Stars and occasionally watch Duck Dynasty but got burnt out on it. Every once in a while I am in the mood for some low-level trash and will catch of few minutes of Lizard Lick Towing just to agitate the wife.
