The al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) on Saturday claimed responsibility for the suicide car bombing last week in the stronghold of Shiite terror militia Hezbollah, reported Al Arabiya..

ISIL managed to penetrated the “security system of the Party of Satan (Hezbollah)... and crush its strongholds... in a first small payment from the heavy account that is awaiting those wicked criminals,” Agence France-Presse quoted the al-Qaeda-linked group as saying in a statement posted onto a website page used by Sunni militants.

The bombing, which took place Thursday in Beirut’s Haret Hreik district, killed at least five people and wounded 77.

The army, meanwhile, said Saturday that the bomber who blew himself up was a young man from northern Lebanon.

“The DNA test results on the remains of a suicide attacker found in the car used in the bomb attack... confirm they belong to the youth Qutaiba al-Satem,” said the army.

When is Kerry going to try to get them to stop fighting each other and concentrate on Israel?

i used to watch (intel) AQI come down to Karbala and bomb the holy shrines...never did I share this info with the locals...I watch bodies float down the river when Sunnis would raid villages across the E. river close to Mahmudiyah and kill Shia...and thought - these same people (Shia) along with Hezbollah/Mahdi Militia are killing US Troops...so to hell with them!

Iraq is a perfect example if Islam ran the world...there’s a reason they lie about all the great sciences and math they created - it was their slaves that they captured and transcribed in Arabic that gave them the enlightenment period — and they never learned after the slaves died...if they were so great - so educated - why was it the Chrisitans landed on the moon - and Jews took a barren land and have turned it into an economic powerhouse...it was the British that showed the camel thieves (Al Saud family) and harvest oil from the desert...and this is what they do - lazy - inbreed - child molesting - slavers - they know nothing more than death! Great example from their self-proclaimed prophet of doom!

The only loser in this whole debacle in the middle east will be the middle eastern Christians. Look at what happened in Iraq, look at Egypt, look at Syria. By the time things calm down in Iraq and Syria there will virtually be no trace of Christianity in those countries. I sometimes feel people are a little too shortsighted and just a touch too happy to see violence in the region without realizing the consequences.
What should be happening is a complete breakup of Syria Iraq Lebanon, parts of turkey and iran into different countries for different religious and ethnic sects. A Christian nation, a Kurdish nation, a sunni nation and a Shiite/alawite nation. That is the only way there would be any sanity in the region. The middle east should have taught us one very important lesson, there cannot be coexistence with islam. You must either submit, or accept to be treated as second class with no value on your life.

Enjoy your popcorn.

May Allah be praised! Let the two sides kill each other and the one true God (not Allah) sort out the bodies. Yes, please pass the popcorn.

caww nailed the real lesson we should take from the Middle East in another thread today:

>>The major lesson of the Iraq war is our country and leadership cannot foresee the consequences of any war with the middle east countries with sufficient accuracy to be attempting to micromanage the geopolitics of those countries.

Beyond that, I am in significant agreement with your final summary; see tagline.

Excellent plan.

It somehow reminds me of my prison reform plan.

Put well armed guards (Maybe .50 cal. machine guns) on the out side of the prison, air lift and drop food and necessary supplies inside, also drop enough small arms and ammo, .22 pistols oughtta do it, to supply every prisoner with at least one gun apiece.

Sit back and wait, prison over crowding would soon be a thing of the past.

There will ‘never’ be sanity in any Islamic country nor among their leadership...impossible....FOR as long as Islam reigns in those nations, and I see no indications at all that that will change, the Islamic push worldwide continues...and that with more “help” from non-Islamic nations then most are willing to admit including our own.

As for the Christians in those countries...time is growing short as I see it, and any Christians who need to be out of those nations will somehow find a way to leave. Others will die there and little any can do about that as long as terrorists and depraved Islamic minds rule.

Nobody I know is ‘happy about any of the violence” happening there.....rather understand that violence is indeed a way of life in those countries, and how they control the populace, Christian and otherwise.

Any division of land in Syria and other nations will make no difference whatsoever in the daily behavior of the mindsets in the Middle Eastern nations. All you have to do is look at how things were before there was even an Iraq, or Pakistan....their tribal wars among themselves will continue unabated...and any nation interfering will simply cause them to unite against said nation or nations....ultimately Israel and the US will always be blamed...that’s a given.
