As Tony Lee of Breitbart News reported Saturday, the Girl Scouts recently promoted late-term abortion advocate and Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis as one of their “incredible women of the year.”
According to the report, the official Girl Scouts Twitter account referred to Davis, who filibustered a bill that banned abortions past 20 weeks of pregnancy, as “incredible,” and linked to a Huffington Post list containing the names of Gloria Steinem and Davis.
The Girl Scouts’ ties to the institutional left and the abortion industry have become increasingly apparent, with Breitbart News’ Austin Ruse delivering the most recent exposé of the organization’s prominent blogger Josh Ackley, who moonlighted as lead singer of a “homo-punk” band called The Dead Betties. The band belongs to a movement called “homocore” that slams disapproval of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lifestyles.
In addition, Ackley and his band produced several albums and videos, including one depicting a woman being stalked and strangled as Ackley sneered, and one showing a young man, perhaps Ackley, writhing around in newspapers as he apparently masturbates.
Ruse subsequently reported that Ackley’s name has since been scrubbed from the Girl Scouts press page, but that he remains with the organization in its communications department.

Wendy is indeed incredible.
What’s more incredible is how Texans could elect her to any state office. Oh, perhaps she’s from within the Austin City Limits. Wendy now joins Sandra Fluck in the infamous list of despicable females.
The Girl Scouts have now followed the BSA down the rabbit hole and the only solution for those who still believe in God is to yank their daughters out of this now evil organization.
There is, called the American Heritage Girls.
“Windy” is a complete media fabrication. Her ridiculous grandstanding in the last legislative session was nothing more than an opportunity to trot out the nastiest, most vile, unwashed filth that slithers in the sewers of the People’s Republic of Austin. She’s the perfect representative for the Party of Death, and she’ll get her caboose kicked hard by Greg Abbott. Oh, and that nasty mole on her mug ... ugh.

She’s from Ft. Worth in a district that narrowly re-elected her the last time. One reason why she is using her fifteen minutes of fame to reach for the moon.
She’s the poster child for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She also sued the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram (uber liberal rag) for material misrepresentation during an earlier campaign.
A pro-life friend of mine attended and testified in Austin. She found the behavior of Davis’ supporters sometime diabolical in character. Wonder if anyone has a video that captures the sound , the unearthly shrieking! yes, I do believe in witches.
Easy three step solution:
1. Don’t buy. (no money)
2. Don’t join. (no members)
3. Don’t vote for Wendy Davis. (no democratic governor)
Do something. Every Texas conservative can do one or more of the above. If you’re not from Texas, 1 & 2 would be appreciated. Do nothing. They win, again!
Everybody in Texas knows what she is and especially what she is NOT. If she should be elected it will be because she is the lesser of two evils or politically harmless. The Texas gubernatorial election process can sometimes seem weird to outsiders. In the 2006, we had to choose between Kinky Friedman and Rick Perry. That was a hard choice. Now it looks like Wendy Davis (Obama supporter) vs Greg Abbott (When asked about his typical workday as attorney general he replied: “I go into the office, I sue the federal government and I go home”). Yep, another hard choice for the voters of Texas.
